Xie, pen name, alias Dongshan Weng, male, born in September, 1927, Han nationality, from Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province. He founded mass cultural organizations such as Yangjiang Calligraphers Association, Yangjiang Chinese Poetry Association and Yangjiang Couplet Association, and served as the president of each association for many years. Executive director of Guangdong Poetry Society and Guangdong Couplet Society; Honorary director of Guangdong Calligraphers Association and member of Guangdong Writers Association; Member of China Poetry Society, China Couplet Society and China Calligraphers Association.

His calligraphy works have been selected into the National Complete Works of Calligraphy "Centennial Classics" and China Film Centennial Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition. He participated in the national calligraphy exhibition for many times and won the prize in the provincial, Hong Kong and Macao calligraphy joint exhibition. Spread to Japan, America, Australia and other countries.
