As the fourth stop of the global tour, it will be at Fosun Art from March 19 to June 6, 2021. "Tadao Ando: Challenge" held by the Center is a comprehensive large-scale retrospective exhibition of his architectural design career.
The exhibition showcases the legendary life of a generation of architectural masters through the reproduction of Tadao Ando’s classic architectural works, exquisite architectural models, detailed design manuscripts, calligraphy and seal engravings, as well as a large number of unique videos, travel notes and photo panoramas.
In order to allow the audience to have a more intuitive experience of the beauty of Tadao Ando's designs, the Tadao Ando Institute of Architecture has specially designed the spatial layout and structure of the building for this exhibition based on the architectural characteristics of the Fosun Art Center. The design transformation creates a light and shadow space unique to Tadao Ando’s design for the audience.
