Characteristics of Liu style

Liu Ti is famous for his thinness and strength, and his fonts are beautiful and strong, so he is called "Liu Gu". Liu Ti's calligraphy is chic and thin, and some strokes are closely interspersed, which makes the spacious place particularly open, with fine strokes and angular edges.

Most of Liu's horizontal paintings are round, rigid, clear, short, thick, slender and handsome. Vertical painting is vigorous, stiff, slender, concise and firm, sharp, heavy and slightly short, kicked up and cleaned with a pen. On the whole, it is restrained and stretched, the uterus is tightened and the limbs are developed. In rigor, what you see is openness and generosity.

Liu's body is balanced, thin and hard, chasing Weibei steadily, with smooth and beautiful stippling, thick bones and tight body. Compared with Yan Ti, Liu Ti is slightly flat and thin, so it is called "Yan Gu".

Character experience

Jingzhao Huayuan (now Yaoxian County, Shaanxi Province) was born. Mu Zong asked Liu Gongquan how to use a pen, and Gong Quan replied: "Use a pen in your heart, and your mind is right." "When Mu Zong was lonely, he changed his face and realized his remonstrance. His calligraphy was always valued in Tang Muzong, Jing Zong and Wenzong. He lived an official life, grew up in Korea and had a successful career.

Liu Gongquan died at the age of 88. He served nine emperors (Dezong, Shunzong, Xianzong, Mu Zong, Jing Zong, Wenzong, Wuzong, Xuanzong and Zong Yi) and lived in Tang Daizong for thirteen years (AD 778)-Xian Tong lived in Tang Yizong for six years (AD 865). Finally, Prince Shao Shi died in the office.
