Dai Yue's Artistic Experience
He learned from his family since he was a child and studied China's calligraphy tirelessly. In his youth, he studied under Mr. Xu Henian, a famous calligrapher and seal engraver, and admired Yan Liu. Later, he claimed to be the "two kings" and studied under Wei Bei and the famous calligrapher Mr. Wu Zhongqi. With the pursuit of China's ancient calligraphy, he devoted himself to the study of bronze inscriptions in 1980s and became a famous scholar, archaeologist and seal engraver, Mr. Jiang Weimeng. 1986 Graduated from China Correspondence College of Painting and Calligraphy. After years of study and research, it has made a solid path in the field of ancient calligraphy in China. He began with Shuo Wen Jie Zi, and earnestly studied the knowledge of exegesis, phonology and ancient Chinese characters. From the Yin Zhou Dynasty to the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, I made an in-depth excavation of the characters in each period, and repeatedly studied the rubbings and written materials I collected, analyzed the origin, and constantly expanded the scope of Chinese characters used in bronze calligraphy. His calligraphy is simple in ancient rhyme, uneven in hierarchical style, full of interest, dignified and elegant, full of vitality, accurate in words and consistent in style, showing the beauty of harmony. Just as the famous calligrapher Mr. Wei Qihou commented on his calligraphy, "The beauty lies in cleverness, which is easy to handle".
