The horizontal batch is posted in the middle of the door, and it must be written from right to left.
2. Modern couplet method:
See whether the horizontal batch is written from right to left or from left to right first. These two kinds of writing are very common at present.
If the horizontal batch is written from right to left, the couplet should be posted on the right, and the next couplet should be posted on the left;
If the horizontal batch is written from left to left, the couplet should be posted on the left and the next couplet should be posted on the right.
The principle of pasting couplets is that the same calligraphy work should follow a unified reading habit.
The ancient writing habit in China was to write from right to left, so the first couplet should be posted on the right.
But now there are a lot of people writing horizontal reviews from left to right, and the first part should be posted on the left accordingly, so as to be smooth.
Distinguish between the upper part and the lower part, in short:
The pronunciation of the last word of the first couplet is the upper sound (the third sound) or the lower sound (the fourth sound), which is called the "lower sound";
The pronunciation of the last word in the second couplet is Yin Ping (the first sound) or Yang Ping (the second sound), which is called "Pingsheng".
