The Academic Value of Sino-Japanese Friendship Poems
The first cursive poem "Friendship Poetry between China and Japan" is a model for calligraphers to study the cursive brushwork of "forest style" and a benchmark for collectors to identify the authenticity of their works. Lin Sanzhi's first cursive poem "Friendship between China and Japan" triggered a great discussion about Lin Sanzhi's writing of friendship poems between China and Japan, involving 12 websites, 10 newspapers and magazines and more than 60 famous experts, which lasted 15 years and spanned two centuries. Lin Sanzhi's first Chinese-Japanese friendship cursive script corrected the time when Lin Sanzhi met the Japanese calligraphy delegation for the first time: March 1975 instead of March 1973. Mr. Ma Hongzeng, a famous Japanese art critic and deputy director of the Theoretical Committee of the China Artists Association, wrote in his paper: "The poem of friendship between Japan and China is a rare masterpiece in Lin Sanzhi's cursive script, and it is called the' King of Lin Sanzhi'. It is necessary to study its value. In my opinion, it is not enough to discuss it only from the perspective of calligraphy. It must be studied from many aspects such as history, culture and society. "
