Why do we have to persist in order to practice calligraphy well?
The reason why we want to copy calligraphy is because writing calligraphy is different from writing in peacetime. Calligraphy emphasizes the accuracy of strokes. In other words, calligraphy requires clear structure, and it is required to see clearly whether it is a turning point or some other stroke. Moreover, writing with a brush is different from writing with a pen, so it is difficult to control the brush. Therefore, to practice calligraphy well, we should not only copy, but also learn how to hold the pen. If the posture is wrong, the written words may not achieve the expected effect.
