Question 1: Is there a sea in Xiamen? There is ~ Gulangyu Island
Question 2: What kind of sea is that in Xiamen? First of all, Xiamen is an island, surrounded by the sea on all sides, and Gulangyu Island is also an island, surrounded by the sea on all sides, and this sea is in the entire country It belongs to the East China Sea, but in fact it is the junction of the East China Sea and the South China Sea.
In a more detailed way, it is the Taiwan Strait waters belonging to the East China Sea;
In a more detailed way, it can be called Xiamen Port, and to the east is the East China Sea of ??Xiamen, together with Xiamen Tongan and Xiang Anhe and Jimei are adjacent to each other. They are currently the focus of development and are mainly engaged in industry. To the west is the West Sea Area of ??Xiamen, while Gulangyu Island is completely in the embrace of the West Sea Area. It is mainly engaged in port transportation, commerce and tourism. Between Gulangyu Island and Xiamen Island The seaway is called Lujiang. This area of ??Xiamen was formerly known as Xiamen Port, or Xiamen Port for short. It is the location of the ancient city of Xiamen and the current city center. The sea area is surrounded by Xiamen Haicang, Xiamen Island and Zhangzhou Longhai City. It is also the second largest river in Fujian. The estuary of the Longjiang River. Gulangyu Island and Haimen Island in Longhai are also the estuary of the Jiulong River and the junction of the Haihe River. Similar to Chongming on the Yangtze River, Xiamen's beaches are given by the river, and the ports in the western sea area are important for Xiamen Port. It consists of Xiamen Island, Xiamen Haicang and Xiamen Jimei to the north. It belongs to the inner harbor and has Maluan Bay, which is an industrial concentration area and future medical service center; As for Xiamen, the water quality is better, the view is wider, and it looks more atmospheric, but it still focuses on Taiwan Strait relations, exhibitions, and sightseeing.
Question 3: Where can I see the sea in Xiamen? Be more specific! 1. Huandao Road.
There are bicycle rentals on Huandao Road. You can rent one and ride around it. From Xiamen University Baicheng to the International Convention and Exhibition Center, there are many attractions along the way: go to Xiamen University, the most beautiful campus, and go to the lake Watch the artillery show at Lishan Fort, go to Nanputuo Temple to worship... There are also scenic spots such as Calligraphy Square and Yefeng Village. You can ride and play all the way. The scenery is beautiful, with green lawns, palm groves, and the subtropical atmosphere. The road around the island is built along the sea and close to the sea. Green belts, beaches, islands and seascapes are fully displayed. On sunny days, you can still see the small islands of Erdan, Dadan, Tuyu, Huziyu, Yanyu, Penangyu, Xiaojinmen and Shuyu, and the Big Kinmen is faintly visible.
2. Gulangyu Island
The winding coastline, the sea water as far as the eye can see... Go to Gulangyu Island to see the sea and start a journey of architecture from all over the world. Climb up Sunlight Rock and overlook the entire Gulangyu Island. The unique buildings, from the Southern Fujian-style courtyard bungalows to the European-style Western consulates, complement the lush vegetation. The sea and sky meet in the distance, which is so beautiful. Along the coastline, you can visit Haoyue Garden and see the natural bathing beach... There are also many specialty shops and unique inns on Gulangyu Island, which are worth a visit.
3. Wuyuan Bay
Wuyuan Bay is the only Feng Shui treasure land on the island that integrates water features, hot springs, vegetation, wetlands, bays and other natural resources. It is no exaggeration to say that the sea water in Wuyuan Bay is the cleanest sea water in Xiamen. There are not as many tourists here as there are on Huandao Road and Gulangyu Island; there is no garbage on the beach; you can walk along the wooden plank road, gently holding hands with your lover. Opposite is the yacht pier, and several bridges in the distance complement each other. After watching the sea, you can stop by the Wetland Park to feed the swans and visit the maze; you can also go to Asia's largest ancient jade museum - the Ancient Culture and Art Museum to view beautiful jade. Xiamen’s visa service for Kinmen is also in Wuyuan Bay. Not far away is Wutong Wharf. You can take a 20-minute boat ride to Kinmen Shuitou Wharf.
Question 4: Which seaside in Xiamen has fewer people? Also, are there any reefs in Xiamen? Have you been to the seaside of Wuyuan Bay and Guanyin Mountain? If you want to see the reef at low tide, you can see it
Question 5: Where is the sea near Xiamen? The best attractions in Xiamen are: Gulangyu Island, Xiamen University-Huandao Road, Wanshiyan, Nanputuo Temple, Jimei, Bailu Cave-Huxi Rock, and Huli Mountain Fort. For other attractions, please refer to my other travelogue with the same name. The seaside of Xiamen University Baicheng is very beautiful, and you can rent bicycles from there to tour around the island. Hulishan Fort charges 20 yuan for admission, and it is not very interesting for those who lack military knowledge and interest.
The Wanshiyan Botanical Garden is actually quite beautiful, but the garden is so big that you must go in the morning to have enough time to appreciate it carefully.
The incense in Nanputuo is very prosperous, and the altar in front of the main hall is filled with offerings such as fruits and snacks brought by pilgrims. In the temples I have been to before, the offerings brought by pilgrims can be taken away after the pilgrims have kowtowed and chanted sutras. Not so here. Looking at this small mountain of offerings, I couldn't help but think that the monks in this temple are really blessed. There are many futons wrapped in yellow cloth placed in some halls, and many pilgrims kneel on them to recite sutras devoutly for several hours. There is a small cave on the mountain behind the temple. The cave is densely filled with Buddha statues invited by the pilgrims themselves. There may be thousands of Buddha statues. The scene is quite spectacular. After walking around the cave, the ground was piled with broken pieces of porcelain or pottery Buddha statues. I couldn't help but sigh. It seems that this custom has lasted not for a few years, but for decades.
The architectural style of Jimei University is very interesting, but unfortunately there are guards at the door and they will not let you in easily. It's best to get a student ID card, lie that you are going in to see a certain classmate, and then register and then you can go in and see. If you really can’t go in, you can still go and see the Dragon Boat Pool. It is said to be a pond, but it is actually a large artificial lake. It is very impressive, and there are many egrets flying around. It really deserves the reputation of Xiamen's "Egret Island". Next to the Dragon Boat Pool is Jimei Middle School, which is the most beautiful middle school I have ever seen. The architectural colors of the two teaching buildings are breathtaking.
It costs 3 yuan to take a motorcycle from Longzhou Pool to Qiaoyuan. In fact, it only takes 2 or 3 minutes to drive there. You only need to walk along the road on the right from the Dragon Boat Pond, and you can walk there in about 15 minutes. The sea is always on the roadside, and the scenery is pleasant.
There is a 10-yuan admission fee for Qiao Garden, but in fact the garden is very small. Except for the unique tomb of Jiageng, there is not much to see, and it can also be found on the road outside Qiao Garden. Take a look at it from a distance. It is better to go to the "Return Residence" next to Jimei Middle School. It is the former residence of Tan Kah Kee and the bronze statue is also there, and it is free.
Bailu Cave and Huxi Rock are actually temples. I only found out after visiting them. These two temples are not big, especially Bailu Cave. I went there on New Year's Day. Apart from the monks and a few pilgrims in the temple, I was the only tourist there. This feeling was very strange. There is a small hall in the temple. There is a hexagram board on the incense table and a lot bucket next to the incense table. After asking for the signature, I went to a small cabinet next to the temple door and looked for the red slip of paper with the signature number. There was no monk there to collect money or take care of it. This seems to be rare in other temples. In addition, there is a path from the back door of Bailu Cave, from which you can walk directly to Huxi Rock. Both temples are free.
Question 6: Is there a beach on Gulangyu Island in Xiamen? There are three bathing beaches on Gulangyu Island: Dadeji Beach is located near Haoyue Garden. The scenery is very beautiful and many locals go there.
There are security guards at the Aberdeen Back Bathing Beach, and there are many tourists. It is next to Shuzhuang Garden.
Meihua Bathing Beach is relatively quiet. It is next to the Gulangyu Villa Pier and there are not many people.
Swimming is not allowed at other beaches.
The sand is not fine everywhere~~ The only beach I have been to in Sanya, Hainan is the one in Yalong Bay that is very fine, and the thickness of the beaches in the same city is also different. It’s also related to the environment. The coarse sand doesn’t wash away for a long time because of the sea water, so the tide doesn’t rise that far.
Question 7: Where is Gulangyu Island? Is there a sea there? Gulangyu is a small island in the southwest of Xiamen, surrounded by the sea. It used to be the location of many foreign consulates, and many foreign consulates still remain here. It’s not that big. If you walk, it only takes about 2 hours to walk along the coast. To go there, you need to take the Xiamen Ferry. You can take the direct one, which is free and takes about 8 minutes. You can also take the tourist route around Gulangyu Island, which costs 15 yuan. It takes about 40 minutes to take the boat around Gulangyu Island.
Question 8: What seas are there in Xiamen? If the one you are asking about is: Pearl Bay, the sea in Xiamen is just average, but the one on Huandao Road is better.
Question 9: Where is the seaside of Xiamen? Xiamen City is located in the middle of the west coast of the Taiwan Strait and the center of the Golden Triangle of Southern Fujian. The territory of Xiamen City consists of the mainland area along Xiamen Bay in the southeastern part of Fujian Province, Xiamen Island, Gulangyu Island and other islands, as well as Xiamen Bay. Xiamen waters include Xiamen Port, Outer Port Area, Maluan Bay, Tongan Bay, Jiulong River Estuary Area and the east waterway. Outside Xiamen Port, there are islands such as Greater Kinmen, Little Kinmen, Dadan, and Erdan. Inside, there are island barriers such as Xiamen Island and Gulangyu Island. It is a natural shelter from the wind. Its coastline is 234 kilometers long, with a total length of 12 meters or more. The deep-water coastline is about 43 kilometers, and the deep-water coastline suitable for building a port is about 27 kilometers. Islands are dotted outside the port area, and the port area is surrounded by mountains. The port is wide and deep, and does not freeze all year round. It is a strait-like natural port with superior conditions. It has historically been an important port for foreign trade on the southeastern coast of China.
Question 10: Which district in Xiamen is close to the sea? They are all close to the sea, but Haicang, Jimei, Huli, Siming and Xiang'an are closer to the sea. In particular, the Siming District (around Huandao Road) on the island has the best view of the sea. There are many beach bathing beaches, convenient transportation, beautiful environment, and many entertainment venues.
