Liming Vocal Music University is referred to as "Liming Vocational University". Located in Quanzhou, the first historical and cultural city in China, the first cultural capital in East Asia, a famous hometown of overseas Chinese, with the largest economic aggregate 17 in Fujian Province, it is surrounded by mountains and faces the sea with beautiful scenery. The school covers an area of 630 mu, with a building area of 2 18656 square meters. The planned area of the second phase project is 270 mu, with a total area of nearly 1000 mu.
Liming University is one of the earliest vocational universities in China. It was officially founded by Liang Piyun, a famous poet, calligrapher, educator and social activist in China, on 1984, and was started by overseas Chinese. Liming University has a long history. Its predecessor was Liming Senior High School, which was founded in 1929. Famous educators Cai Yuanpei and Ma Xulun, writers Ba Jin, Li Ni, musician Lu Ji, dramatist Zhang Geng, historians Yang Renkun and Zhou, and biologists Chen Fanyu all came to our school to teach, give lectures and write. Mr. Ba Jin, a master of literature, will always be the honorary chairman of Liming University.
The running quality of Liming University has been in the forefront of universities in the province for many years. The admission scores of all majors exceed the college scores, and the minimum scores of some majors exceed the undergraduate scores.
