Before his death, he traveled around and preached. I once left a cassock in Yanfeng Temple. After his death, he often haunted southern Hunan, reincarnated as a monk in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and preached in Yanfeng Temple. Legend has it that he was born in Chen County, died in Quanzhou and became a Buddha in Hengzhou. One of the eight ancient scenic spots in Xiaoxiang. The earliest legends originated in the Tang and Song Dynasties. Autumn is coming, the geese in the north are going south, and Hengyang is no longer flying south. At this time, along the Xiangjiang River, the banks are vast, with fine sand like snow and reeds swaying. These geese live, eat and play here. Mi Fei, a poet in the Northern Song Dynasty, praised: "Hengyang was broken, and it was temporarily returned. The sand and clear water grew raspberry moss and lived in peace, but it was urged by the lonely city to draw a corner."
The artistic conception here is ingenious, which condenses the essence of the river bank and reproduces the beautiful scenery of "autumn geese playing with sand" in the past. Yan Hui Pavilion, located in Yan Hui Scenic Area, is a new district in Yan Hui. The main pavilion is 35 meters high, with four floors and four edges. The top eaves are like a goose zhang yi, and there are seventy-two columns at the bottom, which means "Seventy-two peaks in Nanyue". There are "Tingpu Pavilion" and "Lanting" on the north and south sides. The whole building was built by Hengyang Municipal People's Government with an investment of more than 5 million yuan in 2006. It is a landmark building in Hengyang city and has the reputation of the first museum in Hengzhou.
In order to create an excellent tourist city in China, improve the cultural taste of Yan Hui Pavilion and the cultural connotation of Hunan, and make Hengyang No.1 Pavilion a "famous pavilion in the south of the Yangtze River" comparable to Yueyang Tower and Wang Teng Pavilion, in September 2007, Hengyang Municipal People's Government invested more than 800,000 yuan to decorate Yan Hui Pavilion. On all sides of the pavilion hung a gold-plated plaque inscribed by Shen Peng, former chairman of China Calligraphy Association. "Hanging a plaque on all sides" is a plan decided by relevant experts after repeated argumentation, which symbolizes the prosperity of Hengyang, a national historical and cultural city with a history of more than 2,000 years. The pavilion on the third floor is decorated with selected poems left by scholars and celebrities who have been to Hengyang, 23 couplets, a woodcut of Back to the Wild Goose Pavilion, and four lacquer paintings created by famous artists in Hengyang, such as Soul of Heng Yue, Wang Chuanshan, Wild Goose in Pingsha and Yu Yan at the Wild Goose Peak. In particular, the huge painting "Soul of Heng Yue" hanging in the verandah on the second floor is magnificent, vividly reappearing the voices and smiles of famous sages who visited Hengyang, such as Dayu, Du Fu, Mao Zedong, Xia, Zhou Dunyi and Cai Lun.
Climbing into the attic, the endless Xiangjiang River is sparkling and full of tall buildings. It is a this beautiful city where man and nature live in harmony.
