What are the masters of modern Chinese studies that you admire?

Masters are climbers of human knowledge, and they are respected for their outstanding achievements. China has produced many masters in modern times, some of them even world-class. Especially in the period of the Republic of China, there were a lot of talents, and the top players fell off the list, which was dazzling. Of course, the master's understanding is different. For example, many people still want to see his character and literary works, that is,' moral articles'. The only thing that can be unified is that he must have deep academic attainments.

"Sinology" refers to China's scholarship, which should be all-encompassing and rich in connotation, but we usually do not include modern natural subjects, and the master of sinology is a dazzling laurel. Nowadays, many masters of Chinese studies who are praised by people are actually just historians, philosophers and writers. There are also views that the master of Chinese studies must be an encyclopedic scholar, with both excellent academic works and popular literary works, but what is certain is that not everyone can wear the master of Chinese studies.

Each family has its own reasons, and there are many arguments, but there is no unified standard. Then let's have a comment of "a hundred schools of thought contend": according to our own standards, who do you think is the master of modern Chinese studies?

There is nothing wrong with Liang Qichao, Chen Yinque, Wang Guowei and Zhao Yuanren, the "four great teachers of Tsinghua" first recommended by Bian Xiao, because they were all recommended by famous scholars at that time.
