Born on February 23rd, 1905, Manchu, Hongqi. Formerly known as Yu Zhen, pen names Yan Ya and Chun Hu,No. Jie Qing, Beijinger. I loved literature, painting and calligraphy since I was a child. He was influenced by famous painters Wang Caibai (), Yang Zhongzi and Sun.
193 1 Graduated from Chinese Department of Beijing Normal University. I loved literature, painting and calligraphy since I was a child. After liberation, influenced by famous painters Wang Caibai, Yang Zhongzi and Sun, he specialized in painting. Qi Baishi's painting style has been truly inherited, and he learned from nature and deliberately sought novelty. He once asked Yu Feian and other old painters for advice. Flowers, feathers, grass insects and so on are all excellent works of meticulous brushwork. Gradually formed a personal style, especially good at painting pine, chrysanthemum and plum. All previous national art exhibitions and book fairs have exhibited their works and won many awards. We have cooperated with Chen Banding, Yu Feian and Wang Shensheng many times.
1958 was hired as a first-class artist by Beijing China Painting Academy. He has served as executive director of China Painting Research Association, member of China Artists Association, member of China Calligraphy Association, president of Manchu Painting and Calligraphy Research Association, consultant of Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles, consultant of China Painting Research Association, consultant of Beijing China Flower and Bird Painting Research Association, etc. He used to be a member of the Second to Fifth Beijing Municipal Political Consultative Conference, a consultant of Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and a consultant of Chinese Painting Research Association. He was re-elected as a member of the CPPCC twice and was a representative of the Second to Fourth National Literary Congress.
