Li Genhong was born in Dongming, Shandong in 1969. He was named Mochi, nicknamed Dongfang Shanren, and his living name was Ruidezhai, Yunwen Thatched Cottage. Graduated from Shandong Academy of Fine Arts in 1987. I have been fond of calligraphy and painting since I was a child. I copied many steles and famous paintings and absorbed various nutrients from them. I learned calligraphy from Ouyang Xun, Yan Zhenqing, and Zhao Mengfu. After attacking Han steles, I later learned from Meng Xian, Tong Wuzhongqi, Zhou Huijun, Sha Menghai, Li Duo, Chen Tianran and other famous people. Mr. Li Genhong has published many calligraphy and painting works and articles in books, newspapers and periodicals at all levels, and has won many awards in domestic calligraphy and painting exhibitions. There are also many works collected by people from Japan, the United States, Singapore, North Korea, Iran and other countries.
