We got on the bus at the newspaper office and arrived at Qiao Feng Temple after an hour's journey. This is a patriotic education base for primary school students. There is a map and the history of Qiao Feng behind the door. It is said that Premier Zhou once made a speech here, which was the starting point of Shaoxing's liberation red line.
Half an hour later, we went back to the car and visited the Yu Xiusong Monument and Yu Xiusong's former residence. In front of the monument, we listened to the introduction of Yu Xiusong's family: Yu Xiusong was born in party member, worked in Xinjiang, the Soviet Union and other places, and was also received by Stalin and others. 1938, Yu Xiusong was killed by reactionaries in Moscow. I want to pay tribute to Yu Xiusong and all the * * * party member like him! It is their blood and life that have brought the great rivers and mountains of the motherland and our happy and beautiful new life today!
In front of the monument, all our netizens lined up in two teams, bowed to the martyrs and held commemorative activities around the monument. After taking a group photo, we came to the former residence of Yu Xiusong. This is a two-story ancient building that is not too big. In the living room, there are some relics of Yu Xiusong. Upstairs is the bedroom of Yu Xiusong's family. In his room, I also saw his calligraphy works, which looked so vigorous and powerful!
In Shangyu, the former site of the "North Withdrawal of the New Fourth Army" conference, we saw the introduction of a group of famous members of the * * * production party during the Northern Expedition, the Agrarian Revolution, War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the Liberation War, and the weapons and equipment at that time were still preserved. I know that the New Fourth Army was originally a guerrilla in eight southern provinces, but it was later reorganized, with Ye Ting as the commander, Xiang Ying as the deputy commander and Chen Yi as the secretary. My mother said that it is the ambition of the New Fourth Army to learn from the poem "Yamaraja Chops 100,000 Flags" written by Chen Yi. I also know that the reason for withdrawing from the North is to avoid confrontation with Chiang Kai-shek, and to "stay in the green hills, not afraid of burning firewood!"
