What is the history of Longkou?

Longkou's history can be traced back to Xia Dynasty, Laiguo was established in the late Shang Dynasty, and Huangxian County was established in Qin Dynasty. Longkou is one of the earliest county-level administrative units in China, named after Longkou Wharf, which was built in the 21st year of Ming Hongwu (1388). 1986, with the approval of the State Council, Huangxian County was revoked and Longkou City was established. In Longkou history, Chunyu Kun, who was famous for his wit and eloquence during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, satirized Xu Fu, a famous alchemist who led thousands of boys and girls to the east in Qin Dynasty, a famous warrior in the Three Kingdoms period, Hu Dahai, the founding father of the Ming Dynasty, an official and a famous painter, Fan Fucui, a minister in charge of Wen Heng for many years, and Wang Shouxun, a bachelor of the Imperial Academy who participated in the revision of national history.
