This kind of cleverness has existed among the people for a long time, and it is not magical.
There is a saying in calligraphy called judging character from books. I think there are 360 lines in the world, and each line has the meaning of judging character from its own line. People in China have always attached importance to virtue, and they have learned literacy and martial arts. No matter what you do, virtue comes first and morality is emphasized. Calligraphy is no exception, and it is not the only one. We know in advance that a person's moral character is very high, appreciate his words or articles, and then sigh that his words are like him, or his writing is like him. This is all known in advance, so I affirmed the quality of books and articles together. If you don't know beforehand, it's hard to say. The famous examples in history are Cai Jing and Cai Jing, whose handwriting is good, but no one says that their character is good. Yan Song's handwriting is also very good, and modern Kang Sheng's handwriting is also very good, so I can't understand it.
Of course, you can see this character in the book, but the way of seeing it is different from the above. For example, you can see a person's attitude towards calligraphy learning, his own works and others' works. From this, we can see the character. Modesty or pride, seriousness or perfunctory, complacency or constant pursuit, seeking truth from facts or unclear address, whether you have tolerance, whether you study hard, whether you like to come here, whether you belittle others and raise yourself, and so on. From this perspective, the characters in the book can be seen clearly. Examples of poor books, such as Gan Long, don't know how to write, but like to write everywhere. The most disgusting thing is to write such a name for the famous paintings collected by the imperial power. Needless to say, they are full of energy and have written many questions, but they have neither appreciation value nor aesthetic value, and they always feel uncomfortable when enjoying them. In this matter, Gan Long has gone a little too far. It is also the inscription of Emperor Hui Zong, not as good as Qianlong, and it is an absolute work of art. ..
