We often use the word "naive girl" to describe those girls who are smart, sensible, lovely and pure, and can make their male compatriots satisfy the male chauvinism's desire for protection. But what you may not know is that innocent girls were first invented to describe people, but they are not girls, but men, and have nothing to do with love. What's going on here?
The word "innocent girl" comes from "Biography of Sun Chang Wuji in the Old Tang Dynasty", in which there is a passage: "As long as you are good at learning, your nature is firm. You write loyalty, you are very attached to me, like a bird, you rely on others, and you love yourself. " It was first written by Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong, to describe Chu Suiliang.
Li Shimin, the second emperor of the Tang Dynasty, was known as Emperor Taizong in history, which created a prosperous situation of "Zhenguan rule" in the Tang Dynasty. Zhu Suiliang was a famous calligrapher and politician in Tang Dynasty, who was well versed in literature and history. He used to be an old man in the Sui Dynasty and later surrendered to the Tang Dynasty. He worked as an admonition officer, assistant minister of Huangmen, and political secretary.
During the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, Zhu Suiliang's Ju Ji mainly recorded the daily words and deeds of the emperor. Li Shimin once again asked Chu Suiliang, "Ai Qing is responsible for recording my words and deeds, mainly what I record. May I have a look? " Chu Suiliang replied: "My heart is responsible for your memory, just like the ancient history of the left and right, recording all your words and deeds, as well as good and evil, as a binding warning to the emperor, so that your majesty will not run amok, and no emperor will personally check the records of historians."
So Li Shimin said to Chu Suiliang, "Ai Qing, if I do something bad, should I record it?" Chu Suiliang said, "Of course, the duty of the liegeman is to record, so your majesty's every move should be recorded." Li Shimin did not get angry easily after listening to Chu Suiliang's answer. After all, people are responsible and have to give up.
Later, Li Shimin and his confidant adviser Sun Chang Wuji commented on the gains and losses of courtiers. He first evaluated Sun Chang Wuji, then Xu Guogong and Gao Shilian, and finally evaluated Chu Suiliang: "He has a little more knowledge, is honest, is loyal to the imperial court, and has great feelings for me. He usually looks like a flying bird, which makes people fondle it. "
Chu Suiliang never let Li Shimin down. On his deathbed, Li Shimin called him and Sun Chang Wuji to the bedroom and said to them, "You are loyal and brave, but Jane is in my heart. Yesterday Hanwu sent Huo Guang, and Liu Bei asked Zhuge, I asked you what to do in the future. Prince Renxiao, as you know, you must do your best to help and protect the Zongshe forever. " He said to Prince Li Zhi, "I am relieved to have Sun Chang Wuji and Chu Suiliang here."
But unfortunately, Chu Suiliang did not have a happy ending. In the sixth year of Yonghui, Wuji and Chu Suiliang strongly opposed the abolition of the king and made Wu Zetian the queen, but failed. Later, Wu Zetian was crowned queen in October, and Chu Suiliang was expelled from the court by Wu Zetian. After his death, Wu Zetian and others still didn't let him go. On the one hand, they cut off his rank, on the other hand, they exiled his descendants.
