Pencil: Ordinary pencil, mechanical pencil. Pencil: Generally used by children. The tip of a pencil will gradually thicken and flatten with writing, which is not suitable for writing or for adults.
Old-fashioned oily pens are used less now.
Gel pen, also called "water-based pen", has stable quality and diverse colors. Another great advantage of gel pen is that it is frequently used in daily life, so it is very convenient to practice writing with gel pen. If you practice calligraphy with a pen, there may be dragon and phoenix dancing when you practice calligraphy, so you need to improvise in your daily writing.
Ballpoint pen: First, it is slippery compared with a pen. Second, the ballpoint pen is oily, and it is slow to write when practicing, and it is easy to break the ink. It is not recommended to use it.
Direct liquid ballpoint pen: The water vapor is strong, unlike gel pens, which will break ink when there is oil, and because there is no oil, it will easily lead to ink bleeding. Not recommended.
Pens: There are ordinary pens, artistic pens with curved tips, and very popular long knife grinding pens. According to the assembly form of the pen tip, there are clear points and dark points. Most adults practice calligraphy with pens.
Soft pen: This kind of soft pen is different from the writing brush, also called Li Xiubi. It is flexible and can write strokes with different thicknesses with different pressures. Compared with the writing brush, the nib of Li Xiubi is a whole, and there is no problem of peak twisting. Friends who can write with hard pen can write directly.
Personally, I think gel pens and pens are more suitable for hard pen calligraphy.
