He is currently a professor of art department of Quanzhou National Huaqiao University, a member of China Calligraphers Association, a member of Canglang Bookstore, an executive director of Fujian Calligraphers Association, an academic consultant of China Calligraphers Association, and a vice chairman of Quanzhou Calligraphers Association.
His works won the first prize of the National Calligraphy Grand Prix twice. He has published many calligraphy papers in national calligraphy journals and university journals. 1987 China young and middle-aged calligraphers were rated as one of the 37 young and middle-aged calligraphers in China. His works have been selected into dozens of special collections such as Selected Works of Chinese and Foreign Calligraphers and Selected Works of Contemporary Famous Calligraphers in China, and have been collected by major museums and memorial halls at home and abroad. He is the author of Wang Naiqin's calligraphy collection. Gong Ge's poems are rich in ideas, fresh and natural, and he is good at various calligraphy styles. He is a master of the charm of Han, Wei, Jin and Tang dynasties, but he is self-motivated, smart and elegant, and full of strength, which is valued by insiders.
