Do other countries have calligraphy art?

The garden-style characters written by Westerners are actually calligraphy. In Muslim countries, Koranic verses are often used to spell out patterns of birds and animals, and geometric patterns are also used to decorate doors and windows. However, these are not as detailed as our calligraphy, which has the strength, strength and style (this seems to be reflected in paintings in foreign countries). They just write beautifully. As far as I know, people who write with brushes include Japan, Korea, Mongolia, and Vietnam, in addition to our country. Nowadays, Vietnam uses brushes to write Latin characters, and Mongolia naturally writes old Mongolian characters. Japan and South Korea still write Chinese characters, but a considerable part of them can no longer be judged by the standards of traditional calligraphy art. Calligraphy education no longer allows writers to develop in the skill of strokes.

Look at the ancient ones, they are better. The sage of calligraphy respected by North Koreans is called Jin Zhengxi, who is a disciple of Ruan Yuan and Weng Fanggang.
