Temperament in TCM refers to the personality and psychological characteristics inherited from parents and developed with physical development, social experience, physiology and psychology, including personality, attitude and wisdom. It originates from the monism of Qi in China's ancient philosophy, and has a deeper connotation than "temperament" in modern psychology. In modern psychology, it is considered as one of the psychological characteristics of people and the general name of individual psychological characteristics. Mainly manifested in the speed and intensity of emotional experience, implicit external performance and sensitive and slow action and other aspects of stable personality and psychological characteristics.
