James Li, Shaanxi Province, born in 1930, is currently a professor of Chinese Department of Shaanxi Normal University, a librarian of Shaanxi Provincial Museum of Literature and History, a member of China Calligraphy Association, an advisor of Shaanxi Calligraphy Association, honorary chairman, art consultant of Zhongnan Publishing House, art consultant of Lishan Publishing House, and executive vice chairman of Shaanxi Senior Calligraphy and Painting Society.
