The structure of running script has four characteristics: 1. Variation in size, 2. Mixed uprightness, 3. reduction and merging, 4. changeable posture
As for the second characteristic, it is Like this:
The so-called "欹" means tilt. It means that the center of gravity of the word is in a state of being about to fall but not falling, sinking but not collapsing, and being in danger but not lost. There are often whole words between the lines in running script, which are "remedied" by the corresponding upper and lower characters in the composition to form a dangerous momentum. There is also a combination of "欹正" in the word. The Nian has movement, the upright one has quiet posture, movement and stillness are harmonious, full of life and interest. To be specific, it means to move a certain character appropriately on the basis of the straightness, and change the position and angle of the stipples and radicals, either left straight and right, or right straight and left; or lower straight. Go up and down, go up and down, etc. However, attention should be paid to the “degree” of this deviation. If the deviation exceeds the momentum, the balance will be destroyed and the characters will fall.
The so-called "uprightness" means that the body posture is dignified and the center of gravity is stable. Zheng in running script mostly refers to those characters that are based on regular script, but are added with changes such as pulling threads, or slightly increased momentum, but still cannot escape the original line of regular script. Although stable, it is not dull.
No matter whether the running script is straight or straight, it has momentum, and there is a dangerous posture in the movement. Although it is unstable, it will not fall over. The so-called "the momentum seems to be weak but it is positive anyway". This is also the beauty of running script. It combines peace with danger, or contains danger with peace.
