In order to cultivate outstanding talents with comprehensive development of morality, intelligence, physical and aesthetics, in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education, Tsinghua University will hold the "22nd National Middle School Students Culture and Art Winter Camp" (hereinafter referred to as the "Winter Camp") in 2010 "), select students with artistic talents.
1. Registration conditions
Graduates of the 2010 College Entrance Examination (Forum) who meet the following conditions can apply for our school’s art students:
1. Have good ideological and moral character, good academic performance, and good health;
2. Have outstanding expertise in the following art projects: instrumental music, vocal music (bel canto or ethnic singing), dance (excluding break dance and street dance; boys are over 1.72 meters tall, girls are over 1.64 meters tall), drama (including sketches and hosting) and TV column host), folk arts (including cross talk, allegro, etc.), Peking opera (all professions are acceptable), calligraphy and painting (Western painting, traditional Chinese painting, soft-brush calligraphy).
Among them, students specializing in Western painting are limited to science students, and their majors are limited to the Vehicle Engineering major (car body design direction) of the Department of Automotive Engineering.
2. Items that are not accepted for students with artistic talents in our school in 2010: saxophone, oboe, guzheng, guqin, pipa, bamboo flute, and harp. Candidates for the above-mentioned projects that are not recruited can sign up to take the test and obtain the corresponding art level certificate.
3. Number of people recognized
In 2010, our school plans to recognize 70 students with artistic talents.
Four. Basic procedures
The selection and recognition of students with artistic talents must go through student application, written preliminary review, cultural class examination, art test, recognition publicity and other procedures.
1． Student Application
Students need to register online through the "Five Schools Cooperation Independent Selection Registration System" (http://211.151.240.112/Student/), register, fill in and submit application materials as required. After successful submission, print the online application materials, and the middle school will fill in the comments and stamp the official seal of the middle school on the photo and the middle school comments. Submit the application form, 1 1-inch photo (the same version as the photo submitted online, with the candidate's name and specialty marked on the back), and a copy of the "Art Specialty Test Fee Remittance Voucher" before November 25 (subject to the postmark on the receipt date) Send to Tsinghua University Art Education Center.
2． Written preliminary review
Our school will organize experts to conduct a preliminary review based on the registration materials submitted by candidates, determine the list of participants for the test, and notify candidates through the registration website.
3. Cultural Course Examination
Candidates who apply for our school’s art specialty test must take the general basic test for the five-school cooperative independent selection examination. Candidates need to choose the test center where they will take the written test when applying online (test centers are currently set up in 29 cities across the country, and candidates can choose freely). After passing the preliminary review, candidates need to log in to the registration website and pay an additional cultural examination fee of 200 yuan. After the registration website confirms successful payment and before the exam, candidates can use A4 paper to print out their cultural course exam admission tickets at any time.
The subjects of the General Basic Test (Science) are: Chinese, Mathematics, English (Forum), Natural Science (70 in Physics and 30 in Chemistry)
The General Basic Test (Liberal Arts) The subjects are: Chinese, Mathematics, English, Humanities and Society (including 40 History, 30 Geography, and 30 Politics)
4. Art Specialty Test
(1) Test Content
a. Music
Performing or Singing: Prepare two pieces, you can combine the music by yourself and choose one First performance. The judges may ask the students to perform all or part of the music according to the circumstances, or ask the students to perform another piece. Performance time limit is 5 minutes.
Basic skills test: Sight-singing test for vocal music, you can voluntarily sign up to demonstrate piano performance; sight-reading test for instrumental music. Sight-reading is usually in five-line notation. For vocal music and folk music, you can choose simplified notation.
b. Dance category
Performance: Prepare two dance programs of different styles and choose one to perform on site. The judges may require students to perform all or part of another program according to the situation, and the performance time limit is 4 minutes.
Basic skills test: soft opening, skill display, imitation, etc.
c. Drama category
Performance: Drama: Prepare for 2 minutes of recitation and 4 minutes of sketch performance; Host: Prepare for 2 minutes of recitation and 4 minutes of column hosting; Folk art and Peking Opera: Prepare There is one program for each of the two categories, and the performance time limit is 6 minutes.
Basic skills test: Drama, hosting: proposition performance, time limit of 3 minutes; Folk art, Peking Opera: basic skills test is conducted by the judges on-site.
Students with special talents who plan to apply for the position of host of Tsinghua University TV station must undergo an audition and evaluation.
d. Calligraphy and painting categories
Chinese painting: proposition creation, self-selected creation, sketch (you can choose freehand or meticulous brushwork, flowers, birds, landscapes, and figures are all acceptable);
Western painting: sketch, color, sketch. Additional test on car body design (professional design and comprehensive test); soft pen calligraphy: proposition,
temporary calligraphy, optional.
(2) Art test location
The art test is arranged to be held at the Tsinghua University Art Education Center (Mengminwei Building).
(3) Musical instruments, accompaniments and utensils
Tsinghua University provides the following musical instruments for testing: piano, double bass, timpani, tuba, xylophone, pantomime, drum set, dulcimer, Guzheng. Students can also bring their own.
Dance, vocal music, and opera tests can be accompanied by accompaniment (piano accompaniment or CD, DVD, MP3, accompaniment tape, etc.); instrumental music tests will not be accompanied by accompaniment.
For the calligraphy and painting test, Western painting paper is provided, with sketches in 4 pages and colors in 8 pages; Chinese painting and Western painting sketches in 16 pages; Chinese painting paper can be brought by oneself, and the size can be customized; calligraphy paper can be brought by oneself, and the size can be customized . Students bring all their own equipment.
(4) Test results
Our school will issue the "Tsinghua University National Middle School Student Culture and Arts Winter Camp Grade Certificate" (respectively first-level excellent, first-level, Second Class Merit, Second Class, Third Class and Memorial Certificates).
5. Recognition and announcement of students with artistic talents
Our school will select and identify students with artistic talents based on the candidates’ scores in cultural courses and artistic specialty tests, and the enrollment plan for students with artistic talents. If the student level of an art project does not meet the requirements, the enrollment plan for this year will be cancelled. Among them, the artistic test level of percussion must reach the first level of excellence, otherwise the certification indicator will be cancelled.
After the list of recognized students with artistic talents is determined, it will be publicized in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education, and the "Agreement for the Recognition of Students with Artistic Talents" will be signed with the recognized students with artistic talents. In the college entrance examination admission process, if students with signed artistic talents apply for our school as their first choice, they will enjoy corresponding preferential policies according to the identification content of the agreement.
During the winter camp, some universities will conduct admissions consultation for students with artistic talents in our school. Our school can provide test results to the admissions departments of relevant institutions according to the needs of universities.
6. Candidates with artistic talents can also apply for the independent enrollment test
Candidates can apply for the independent enrollment test at the same time as they apply for the test for students with artistic talents. When registering, such candidates should select both "specialty students" and "independent enrollment". Candidates should prepare application materials separately in accordance with the regulations for students with artistic talents and independent enrollment, and send the two materials to the Art Education Center and the Admissions Office respectively. The preliminary review of the two types of admissions will be conducted independently.
Those who have passed the preliminary review of students with artistic specialties and independent enrollment at the same time, in addition to taking the general basic test in the cultural examination, they should also take the special test of our school.
After that, students with artistic talents and independent enrollment will be assessed and recognized in accordance with their own rules and procedures, and there will be no conflict in the time of each assessment. Candidates who are finally recognized at the same time will only be able to choose one of them to sign a contract and receive a preferential score policy.
7. Other campers
Students who do not take the cultural class exam (you do not need to pay additional cultural class exam fees on the registration website after passing the preliminary review) or students who have not passed the cultural class exam can also Participate in the winter camp art test organized by our school and obtain the "Tsinghua University National Middle School Student Culture and Art Winter Camp Grade Certificate". The registration method, registration time, art test method, etc. are all subject to the above terms.
