Why Tang poetry became Song poetry?
In the literature of Song Dynasty, you will feel a kind of fullness and quietness, which has brewed another new seed, which is very different from the turbulent beauty of flowers. The commotion is because it is opening, and the flowering naturally attracts others' attention, while the fruit may not be so attractive, but it has its own perfection. -Fan Yichen's sorting words came into being because the achievements of Tang poetry were too high. After the achievements of Li Bai, Du Fu, Li Shangyin, Du Mu and Tang poetry reached such a high level, ordinary people and folks could not understand them slowly because it was already unattainable. Whenever the artistic conception of an art form is getting higher and higher, it actually means that it is far away from the people. However, it is impossible for the people themselves to live without entertainment, so they will write some songs to sing. As a result, the two are getting farther and farther away. However, once these two things are brought closer, it will produce a new art form. That's what we're talking about now. Don't get me wrong, thinking that no one wrote poems in the Song Dynasty, in fact, there were so many poems, even more than words. However, none of their poems are as successful as Ci. Because the word is relatively free, its whole phonological form has changed. When we read "When is the spring flower and the autumn moon, how much is known about the past", we will find that the seventh and fifth days of Tang poetry are changing, and the ups and downs of its phonology have produced a lot of new rhythms, which push the expression of words to a new realm. When it comes to Ci, we should first mention five pronouns, because five pronouns are a key bridge between Tang poetry and Song poetry, and the key figure of this key bridge is Li Houzhu. In fact, there are not many works by Li Houzhu, but few works have had such a great influence in the history of literature. Sometimes it can be seen that in the creativity of literature and art, a person will have such great power to spin dry and turn Kun. Li Houzhu shed tears at Gong E in Li Houzhu's early works, we can't read sentimentality, and he never thought that one day sentimentality would befall him. When Wang Guowei commented on him, he had a very special kind of compassion. Wang Guowei said that Li Yu grew up in the hands of women in the deep palace and grew up among a bunch of women. There was no way to ask him not to write such poems. He didn't have a chance to leave the palace at all, and he didn't have a chance to go outside the palace to see the life outside. Another beginning of his life was the national subjugation. He was honest in his pursuit of sensual pleasure and women in the first half of his life, and so was his sadness after his death in the second half. Even after becoming a prisoner, Li Houzhu thought of beauty. When the Song army arrested him, he went to the ancestral temple specially, because there was a custom in ancient China. After the king's national subjugation, he had to kowtow to his ancestors' graves, say goodbye to his ancestors, and then quit the temple. "The most hasty resignation of the temple day" was taken away after worshipping the temple. He felt very miserable. "Jiaofang still plays don't leave the song." Jiaofang is a band in the royal family. When the band felt that the emperor was leaving, they played a song full of parting. When he saw the maid-in-waiting who usually served him, he cried, "Tears to Gong E". This poem was scolded so badly that most of the anthologies did not choose this work. People think that by this time, Li Houzhu still "shed tears at Gong E". He was really the king of national subjugation, and he was too greedy for women. He was still thinking about Gong E when he died. It seems more forgivable if he says "tears to ancestors". Wang Guowei thinks that his true nature as a poet is shown at this time. He felt that he was leaving, and the saddest thing was to say goodbye to these girls who grew up together. The so-called loyalty and filial piety are very empty to him, and he has no feelings. It subverts the traditional way of writing, which is absolutely true. Li Houzhu didn't perceive the country, he just perceived Gong E, because he grew up with these girls and had no other chance to perceive what the home country was. For him, his home country is just a wealth for him to squander. The most important thing in literary creation and artistic creation is whether it is true or not. If there is forgery, there is a problem. But Li Houzhu's "Tears to Gong E", if viewed from a modern perspective, just subverts the hypocrisy of people. Let's see why Wen Tianxiang's Zhengqi Song, Shi Kefa's Zuo Zhonggong's Anecdote and Lin Juemin's Farewell to His Wife were selected into the textbooks. Not necessarily because they are really excellent literary works. In this context, we will feel how subversive Li Houzhu was when he wrote "Tears to Gong E", which was tantamount to slapping the literary tradition that he was used to hypocrisy. He just didn't shed tears at home and country, but shed tears at Gong E, which was his affair. This is a shy and embarrassing part in our life. Only the naive Li Houzhu can write it so calmly. I have always been very moved by Wang Guowei's new orientation to Li Houzhu when he wrote "Words on Earth". Otherwise, in the whole cultural tradition, we will even wonder what kind of position he should be placed in. Cultural Contributor Sometimes you will feel a kind of fate, as if destined to let a poet die once, and then he will write a few sentences with such a heavy weight. That is, if he hadn't suffered such a big event, his life sentiment wouldn't have changed from a little frivolous and lewd in the early days to so deep. Is a national subjugation, suddenly let this clever man realize prosperity to disillusionment. So when we read Yu Meiren, Langtaosha and his later works, we suddenly had a very different life experience. Sometimes a very contradictory thing is whether this so-called fate is a subjugated country waiting for Li Houzhu, a subjugated country waiting for Song Huizong, why Song Huizong wrote such a gorgeous and sentimental thin gold body in his calligraphy, and whether there is an inescapable sense of redemption in it. These are all very difficult to explain. Because in the whole history, no one wrote this kind of sharp-edged calligraphy, but he really used this literally to face the fate of national subjugation. This kind of creativity produced after the national subjugation is actually worthy of our attention. Ci was a popular song in the Song Dynasty, and the five pronouns were just the connection between the two things, because after the golden age of Tang poetry, you don't have to think about it if you want to write more poems than Li Bai and Du Fu. Therefore, it is necessary to find another way and find a new way out. Instead, we will go to the popular world and re-create new experiences for the popular. At that time, there were a group of silly people who continued to imitate Tang poetry there, and all of them were finished. On the contrary, something new appeared in this group of people who went to pop songs. This is the revolutionary significance of the five pronouns we are talking about today, that is, words are simply pop songs. You may understand why we read the sentence "The flowers in the forest are blooming in the spring" today, and we will vaguely feel different from the Tang poetry. "Too hasty" is a very direct folk feeling, but it feels so fast. So you will find that it is very easy to turn these things into songs and modern pop songs, because it is a song. What we are reading now is the name of music, not the name of literature, which is equal to the meaning of "G flat major", rising and falling. Li Houzhu should be a poet who likes pop songs best. Let's look at Li Houzhu's "Night Cry" first, and there is also one called "Meet You Huan". In the dark night, Li Yu went to the west wing alone without words, and the moon was like a hook. Lonely phoenix tree deep courtyard locks clear autumn. Cut constantly, the reason is still chaotic, which is to leave sorrow. It's not just a general taste. "Cut constantly, the reason is still chaotic" is a feeling very similar to pop songs. You will find that people like Su Dongpo will not write such sentences later, because this kind of thing is very feminine, and this feeling is often not the feeling of literati. So I think Li Houzhu should be a poet who likes pop songs best. If we often go to karaoke to sing today, you will find that those popular songs are different from the sources of many literary classics we have read. If a person sings karaoke all day and writes poetry, his writing is absolutely different from that of people who came out of the Chinese department. Because their origins are different. For example, in Jiang Hui's "Voices after Drinking", we will feel a kind of feeling of sad night drinking in a folk restaurant, which is something you can't imagine in your study.
