Cheng Dequan (1860- 1930), born in Yunyang county, Chongqing, was born in Xuelou. He used to be the Governor of Fengtian in Qing Dynasty and the Governor of Jiangsu Province. In the Revolution of 1911, he joined the revolutionary army "anyway" and served as commander-in-chief of Jiangsu and chief of internal affairs of Nanjing Provisional Government. Later, he retired from politics, lived in Shanghai, and recited scriptures behind closed doors. 1926 was ordained at Tianning Temple in Changzhou, and his dharma name was silent. His posthumous works include Cheng Zhong Cheng Drama and Wu Mi Wen Xi. Today, in Hanshan Temple outside Suzhou, there are four characters of "Ancient Hanshan Temple" in ink.
The calligraphy in the tablet of Hanshan Temple in Cheng Dequan is written in block letters, and its contents are copied from the excellent poems of many poets from the Tang Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, such as the poem "Crossing the Maple Bridge" written by Zhang Hu in the Tang Dynasty: "The grass outside Changzhou Garden is rustling and walking around the city for a long time. Just don't forget that today, the yellow rain crossed the maple bridge. " This poem is the most famous swan song of Suzhou Qiao Feng after Zhang Ji's a night-mooring near maple bridge. Zhang Hu (about 783-852 AD) was born in Qinghe, Bei Tang. He lived in Gusu first, then in Chang 'an, and once wandered around. In his later years, he loved Qu Adi in Danyang and lived in seclusion.
Inscriptions in past dynasties: The second order of the whole monument is Su Hanshan Temple in Wei, Wen Zhong in Jiao Ran, You Hanshan Temple in Cheng Shimeng, Wen Lao and San Jue in Sun Yong. There are 15 famous works from Tang Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, which are divided into eight stones.
Another example is "You Hanshan Temple", which is carved on the stone of Cheng Dequan's books. It is a famous poem by Wei, a poet in the Tang Dynasty: "The heart does not go to the destiny, but stays in the world. Looking for autumn grass trails alone, staying at Hanshan Temple overnight. Today, the county is idle, and I want to ask. " Wei (about 737-79 1): Tang Jingzhao was born in Wannian (An). Zhenyuan four years (788), served as Suzhou secretariat for three years. Known as Wei Suzhou, there are Wei Suzhou collections.
"Smelling the Bell" Tang Shi Jiaoran: "On the cold mountain of the ancient temple, the wind blows far away. After the moonlight, the trees moved and the frost bell rang. Yi Chan's eternal son, Ling Ran is in a state of mind. " Monks in Tang poetry. The word Qingtian, whose real name is Xie, is from the Great Wall (Changxing, Zhejiang). After becoming a monk, he lived in Miaoxi Temple in Xing Wu for a long time and had an outstanding literary name.
This tablet of "Cheng Dequan Stone Inscription Hanshan Temple Inscription in Past Dynasties" in Suzhou Garden Museum is a handwriting extended from the original tablet by later generations. The calligraphy of this tablet is a running script, with simple and elegant style, neat and smooth handwriting, fine stippling and full of scroll flavor. It better shows the poetry of the poet's poems about Qiao Feng and Hanshan Temple. Suzhou, as a garden city, just like Qiao Feng and Hanshan Temple in Suzhou, is famous for a poem "a night-mooring near maple bridge" written by Zhang Ji, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. The Hanshan Temple outside Gusu, the Maple Bridge in the south of the Yangtze River where the Grand Canal flows, the passenger ship that slowly unties the cable at midnight, and the misty moonlit mood in front of the iron clock are all beautiful poems and paintings in the old Suzhou scenic spot that tourists have been fascinated by for generations. Coming to the Garden Museum from Master Wang Garden is like walking from one home to another. I don't know how many collections there are in Yuan Bo, but almost every exhibition hall contains the artistic elements of Master Wang's gardens, including buildings, flower windows, furniture, poems and plaques ... some are old things, some are models, some are pictures, and some are real-life imitations.
In the Dieshan Hall in Yuan Bo, a Yellowstone rockery stands in front of people. Its direction, texture and shape tell people that this is the "Yungang" of the Master of Nets Garden. I'm surprised that this big guy was moved here. Standing in the small courtyard outside the indoor hall, I can really see its magnificent appearance through the seemingly separated glass curtain wall, but after all, it is an exhibit of the museum, which can only be viewed from a distance and cannot be used for fun.
In the water management hall, there is a water system full of images. An arch bridge is like a crescent moon lying on it. It is very lovely to cross it in three steps. I can't help thinking of the small pocket bridge in Master Wang's garden-Silent Bridge. It is located at the entrance of the southeast corner of the pool, across the stream, only 2 meters long and 1 meter wide, commonly known as the "three-step bridge". The Gu Zhuo of the small bridge is exquisite, with all kinds of stone fences, stone steps and arches. The top of the bridge is engraved with a group of peony reliefs, and the vines under the bridge go straight to Tianjin. On the footbridge, it can really be said that "the shadow bridge fence is full of water and the clothes are clear." At the northernmost part of the building hall in Yuan Bo, the cornice of a brick-carved gatehouse jumps into view. This is a brick gatehouse built in Gao Yao Lane, which was copied by designers in Yuan Bo according to the ratio of 1:0.8. Boutique brick is one of the common decorative arts in landscape architecture. Chisels and planers are often used to carve various patterns on crisp blue bricks, which have been widely used in residential buildings since the Ming Dynasty. The brick-carved gatehouse of Wang Shi Garden was built in the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, with a height of about 6 meters and a width of 3.2 meters. The whole gatehouse has been carefully carved by techniques such as flat carving, relief carving, carving and through carving, and has become a must in the south of the Yangtze River. Because of its unique carving technology, exquisite carving and complete preservation, it is known as the first brick carving gatehouse in Jiangnan. Now it is copied in the garden museum, showing the ingenuity of craftsmen.
In the middle of the building hall is the "hot sample" of garden architecture. This work is obviously carefully designed and produced. The so-called hot sample is a three-dimensional model, which is a unique product of China's ancient architecture and was made for the emperor's royal viewing. Nowadays, models are generally called "hot samples". The Garden Museum combines the traditional Suzhou craft-mahogany production with the garden architecture that needs to be expressed. For example, the boiling water pavilion in the master's garden is made of red rosewood, which is fine in workmanship. From the tiles on the roof to the patterns on the skirt, the makers are meticulously carved, and even every door and window can be opened and closed. After reading these exquisite garden buildings, I can't help but think of a good story: In the master's garden, next to the Meng Ying Shuige, former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger once lamented that Zhang Xinsheng, then mayor of Suzhou, said that although the pool in the garden was small, it had a deep artistic conception! The small pool leads to the ancient canal outside the city and then to Beijing. This water has a long history! The same is true of Sino-US relations, with winding paths leading to secluded places and bright prospects! Although the "hot" of Wang Shiyuan's spring cat is not big, it is because the yard of the spring cat is gradually enlarged and clear, "the spring breeze of Shaoyao Temple is still there". Dianchunmao is a peony thatched cottage, which was built in late spring and is a garden in the Master of Nets Garden. There are four elements of classical gardens: overlapping mountains, water management, architecture and flowers and trees. In 1930s, Zhang Shanzi and Zhang Daqian lived here, raising tigers, painting, making friends with celebrities and learning painting skills. In the early 1980s, Xuan Ming settled in the Metropolitan Museum of New York, USA, based on "Spring Slips of the Master Garden", which initiated the export of Suzhou classical gardens overseas. Suzhou gardens travel across the ocean, "just like a most complete, elegant and comfortable Chinese painting ... the garden art of our motherland is so solemn, quiet and harmonious" (Ding Ling's new york China Garden). Yuan Bo Exhibition Hall mainly displays exquisite furniture of various gardens. Furniture is commonly known as "the belly of the house". The garden lacks furniture, that is, there is no ink on the chest. Professor Chen Congzhou mentioned in his book "On Gardens" that "in the past, great efforts were made in the furniture of Master Wang Garden, and it really reached a high level". There are eight pieces of furniture from Master Wang's garden in the exhibition hall of the Expo. They are all precious collections in the Garden Museum, whether it's the flat-headed Huang Huali case in Ming Dynasty, the red sandalwood bulging leg case, and the long-legged Peng Ya case, or the chicken-winged rose two-seater in Qing Dynasty, the pointed cabinet in Huang Huali, the rosewood flower table and the multi-purpose chess table. For example, the flat-headed case in Huang Huali looks simple and unpretentious. It used to be idle in Netscape Garden for ordinary furniture. Perhaps it is old and looks particularly "old-fashioned". The bookcase is108.5cm long, 65.3cm wide and 82.5cm high. Its structure is simple and simple, its shape is simple and elegant, and it is full of books. This kind of small case was one of the popular furniture varieties in Suzhou at that time and was favored by literati. At the beginning, it was Professor Pu Anguo's intention, and the discerning person knew pearls and came to the rescue. For example, the bamboo checkered chess table was designed to satisfy the owner's taste of "playing chess, painting and calligraphy", and was originally hidden in Miss Shiyuan Wang's boudoir. The size of a chess table is similar to that of a four-string table. After the desktop is opened, there is a reversible chessboard below, which is used to play Go and chess. A square box for placing chess pieces is embedded in the diagonal of the chessboard. There are three darkrooms under the board, with wooden shaft covers on the left and right, and a three-diamond backgammon board in the middle. According to legend, the game of Gobang was introduced from Tianzhu. The chess piece is a wooden stick-shaped "horse" with six lanes on the left and right sides of the board, which is called "Backgammon". In the eighty-eighth chapter of A Dream of Red Mansions, Yuanyang saw the plot of Jia Mu and Li Wan playing backgammon. Unfortunately, backgammon has been lost, and this backgammon table in Netcourt has only chessboards and no chess pieces. Now it is displayed in the garden museum as a collection, which is really deserved. There are relics of Master Wang's garden in the garden, as well as verdant cliffs, thousands of Zhuge marching drums, hundreds of millions of years of silicified wood, a rattan window with "unintentional willows in the shade", and a couplet with "picturesque colored pens and embroidered axes, seeing Taoyuan in the city" ...
