In the second year of Yuanfeng (1079), on July 28th, Su Shi, who had been in office for only three months, was arrested by officials of Yushitai and taken to the capital, implicating dozens of people. This is the famous "Wutai Poetry Case" in the Northern Song Dynasty (Wutai, the Jade Terrace, is called Wutai because there are cypresses planted on it and crows inhabit it all the year round).
Yuan You four years (1089), Su Shi holds a bachelor's degree in Longtuge, knowing Hangzhou.
In the second year of Su Shi's arrival in Hangzhou, he dredged the West Lake, mobilized more than 200,000 migrant workers, expelled farmland, restored the old scenery, and erected three towers (now reflecting the moon in three ponds) in the deepest part of the lake as a symbol. He collected the dredged silt and built a long dike running through the West Lake, which was connected by six bridges for pedestrians. Later referred to as "Su Gong Di" or "Su Causeway".
Su Shi died in Changzhou (now Jiangsu) on July 28th (11August 24th).

When Su Shi was in Huangzhou, he often interacted with Fo Yin Zen Master who presided over Jinshan Temple. One day, Su Shi wrote a poem, "Looking at the sky from a distance, it shines brightly, and the eight winds can't blow, sitting on the purple lotus", which was dedicated to Fo Yin. The Zen master immediately approved the word "fart" and let the young people take it back.
Dongpo was furious at this. He immediately crossed the river and asked the Zen master. The Zen master smiled and said, "Bachelor, bachelor, aren't you' the Eight Winds can't be blown'? Why cross the river with a fart? " "Eight winds can't be blown" can be found in the fifth volume of Buddhist scriptures and also in Hanshan's poems. Eight winds are Buddhist terms, which refer to eight winds: name, ridicule, extinction, fame, benefit, decline, bitterness and joy. ?
2. Leizhou West Lake
The West Lake in Leizhou, Guangdong Province, formerly known as Luohu, was founded in the Northern Song Dynasty. Since the brothers Su Shi, a great writer, got drunk here, Luohu was renamed West Lake.
