Xu Zhenglian's Personal Profile

Xu Zhenglian, and Xu Zhenglian, named Chu San. Contemporary China famous seal engraver, calligrapher and art educator. 197 1 studied under Mr. Tian Heng's calligraphy, 1972 studied under Mr. Qian Juntao's seal cutting. After more than 30 years, his carving style is quite different, implying unevenness. His works have participated in three national calligraphy and seal cutting exhibitions, five national young and middle-aged calligraphy and seal cutting exhibitions, four national seal cutting art exhibitions and three national seal cutting appraisal exhibitions by Xiling Printing Society. He has published Collection of Contemporary Young and Middle-aged Seal Carvers-Volume of Xu Zhenglian, Selected Seal Carvings by Xu Zhenglian (Japanese Edition), Works by Xu Zhenglian, Works by Xu Zhenglian of India Friendship Association, Xu Zhenglian's Occasionally Carving, Co-authored by Xu Zhenglian's Works, Selected Seal Carvings by Xu Zhenglian's Teachers and Students, and Contradictory Pen Names. He has participated in the national calligraphy seal cutting exhibition, the national young and middle-aged calligraphy seal cutting exhibition, the national seal cutting art exhibition and the national Lanting Award for calligraphy art for dozens of times and won many awards. He was nominated by China Calligraphy and Painting and Yijing magazine as "the seal engraver with the most attention and investment potential in 2009-20 10".
