When calligraphy learning reaches a certain stage, which is the key, skill or kung fu?

In my opinion, when calligraphy learning reaches a certain stage, we should focus on techniques. However, efforts should be made, and the training of kung fu should not be underestimated, because technology is the key. From the philosophical point of view, Kung Fu is the premise of technology, and technology is the support of Kung Fu. Technology and kung fu are complementary, and they are complementary. We cannot artificially oppose technology and kung fu. In order to answer this question, I have carefully consulted the relevant materials. According to historical records, some calligraphers in history, after a certain effort, mainly rely on calligraphy techniques. Wang Xizhi, a book sage, spent fifteen years studying the Eight Laws of Yongzi, and finally created the Eight Laws of Yongzi, which was later spread to the world. "Eight methods and eternal characters" is a technique of calligraphy. Cheng Miao, Zhang Zhi, Zhong You, Mrs. Wei, Lu Ji, (Ou Yangxun, Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan), "Song Sijia" and so on. They all focus on calligraphy techniques and study for life. It is said that Wang Xizhi, a book sage, devoted himself to the study of calligraphy techniques, and he was fascinated. Sometimes, without thinking about tea or eating, he ponders over and studies a word with a pen, as well as its "potential", "spirit", "danger" and "stability" and its structural distribution. Especially after the cursive script was transformed into running script, Wang Xizhi's pursuit of calligraphy techniques was higher. Although the words in the preface to the sacred teachings of Huai Ren Ji Wang Xizhi were collected from the society at that time, the collected words were rare, and 95% of the words were written by Wang Xizhi himself. There is also Wang Xizhi's world's first running script, Preface to Lanting. Today, when it comes to calligraphy techniques, in addition to Wang Xizhi's other calligraphy, there are only two classic inscriptions, Preface to the Holy Teaching of Wang Xizhi in Huairen Collection and Preface to Lanting. How much energy Wang Xizhi has invested in the study of calligraphy techniques! There are also calligraphers such as Ou Yangxun, Yan Zhenqing and Liu Gongquan, who devoted their lives to the study of calligraphy techniques. Why can their calligraphy works be handed down to future generations? I don't need to explain this problem. Of course, there are many examples about which is the key point after calligraphy learning reaches a certain stage: skill or kung fu! Limited to space, I won't list them one by one. But one thing needs to be repeated: after learning calligraphy to a certain stage, we should focus on calligraphy techniques and don't neglect the training of basic skills.
