I decide my destiny

The summer is hot, but the farmyard shaded by green trees is particularly cool. In the cradle, the little boy woke up at some point. He opened his eyes and saw that no one was around. He didn't cry anymore. He started to stretch his arms and kick his legs, swimming freely like a little fish. No one could figure out how he ended up sitting in the middle of the cradle. When grandma heard him "clucking" and laughing non-stop, he ran out of the kitchen. His two little feet were kicking on the side of the cradle, and his two little hands were waving. As his calves flexed and stretched, the cradle rocked happily. stand up. Grandma was surprised and happy to see this 10-month-old little guy so naughty and cute. This scene was deeply engraved in her mind. In the following years, she repeatedly traced that picture, becoming more and more vivid. From the moment I can remember, I knew that little boy was me, and I understood that happiness is so simple!
From elementary school to junior high school, I had excellent grades and studied in a key school that was envied by everyone around me. But when I picked up the high school textbook and continued to study hard, fate played a big joke on me: my eyesight suddenly deteriorated, and the familiar square characters in the book turned into countless ants, and my college dream was shattered. In those days, the sky was gray, the fields were gray, and my heart was also gray. My parents were heartbroken and took me everywhere to seek medical advice. Experts diagnosed me with retinitis pigmentosa (a world medical problem). This was like a bolt from the blue, but I, being stubborn by nature, was not knocked down! While I actively cooperated with the treatment, I also strengthened nutrition and exercise. Two years later, the vision recovered to 0.2, and the family was overjoyed! But I couldn't be happy. I didn't know where my way out was. At that time, people in the village said all kinds of things. Some said, "Human life is destined, and you have to accept it." Some said, "If you can't see, you can only rely on your family to support you for the rest of your life." Some persuaded my parents to let me learn fortune telling... I didn't I am willing to prove it with facts: I am not a useless person!
In May 1992, despite my parents’ obstruction, I packed my bags and followed my contractor to Tianjin and Beijing. This is a mighty rice-planting army, mostly women, who take advantage of the slack to go to the northern farms to contract farm work to earn a few small bucks. At that time, agricultural mechanization had not yet been fully realized, and the vast hectares of fertile land in the north were cultivated manually. We were here to help transplant rice seedlings to the fields. The foreman negotiated with the person in charge of the farm or the village chief about the wages and construction period, and after giving the order, we left early in the morning and returned late in the evening. Generally, women are responsible for pulling out and transplanting seedlings, while men are responsible for heavy physical labor such as fertilizing and transporting seedlings. Because I am young, have bad eyesight, and earn few work points, everyone takes good care of me. I was never lazy at work, and I often used my breaks to tell everyone jokes and help the illiterate people keep accounts. Everyone is willing to work in a group with me, and no one dislikes me. One day at dawn, I followed everyone to the fields. When passing a single-plank bridge, he slipped and fell into the river. The river was very deep and very cold. Fortunately, I knew how to swim. Everyone pulled me up and asked me to go back and put on dry clothes and help the aunt who was cooking carry water and chop firewood... I'm scared to think about it now, but I No regrets. Because this was the first lesson I took when I entered a social university, and I saw the brilliance of human nature from the villagers! At that time, we lived in shacks in the fields and had enough food. The only vegetables were cabbages and cucumbers. I don’t know how many flies were scalded to death in them. Every time I started eating, a kind person would help me pick out the flies in the bowl. . Hard work and harsh environment sharpened my will. These two months of "wild survival training" have become a rare spiritual wealth!
When I returned home safe and sound, my parents’ worries finally dropped. Later, recommended by my father and through competitive recruitment, I became a primary school Chinese substitute teacher. In order to be qualified for this job, I learned while teaching, devoted myself to studying teaching materials and teaching methods, humbly asked old teachers for advice, went to a normal school for further studies, and constantly worked hard to improve my professional level. In order to cultivate students' good reading habits and exercise their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, I make full use of my spare time to guide students to run blackboard newspapers, set up class book corners, organize spring and autumn outings, storytelling and other activities, and carry out recitation, calligraphy, composition and other activities. Competition etc.
Unexpectedly, the threshold for Shoujia was very high, so I failed the interview and was turned away. Should I go or stay? Let’s go, where can we go? Do you still hang out on those little massage mats? Stay, can you take me in? After thinking about it, I decided to stay. Even if I didn't get paid, as long as I had a place to stay, I would treat it as an internship here. The company leaders agreed to my request and arranged for someone to guide me in practicing the techniques, and asked me to follow everyone to the free clinic in the square... In October, I finally became a regular employee of Shoujia, and from then on I was affectionately called "Dr. Sun". For more than 10 years, I have persisted in continuous learning and my overall quality has been greatly improved. On the basis of obtaining the Senior Health Massage Practitioner Certificate, he also passed the National Blind Medical Massage Practitioner Examination and successfully obtained the qualification certificate. No matter how hard you work, you will gain. My efforts have been well received by leaders, guests, and colleagues. I have been rated as a model of Shoujia corporate culture and an advanced worker of Shoujia many times. When I have free time, I like to surf the Internet, listen to music, and read books. In terms of writing, I became a special correspondent of "Shou Jia Bao", "Blind Monthly" also published several of my essays, and some of my poems won awards in national essay competitions. Persevere, persevere, read every day, and live happily. I am glad that I chose Shoujia in the first place, and I would also like to thank Shoujia for providing such a good platform for us blind people to learn and grow!
Shoujia not only fulfilled my dream of being a doctor, but also fulfilled my dream of becoming a rose. I lost my sight halfway, and there is almost no "blindness" in my speech and behavior. In addition, I have always been strict with myself, tolerant to others, calm and reserved, practical and hard-working, and I quickly integrated into this warm group. And those tofu nugget articles also won me the reputation of "a talented person with good skills". Shoujia is a big family with many beautiful and capable girls. Several of them have shown love to me, but I just fell in love with a Shandong girl with albinism. Many people don't understand: Why do they have a soft spot for this northern woman who is not optimistic about her appearance and personality, even if she doesn't pursue the tender-hearted beauty from the south of the Yangtze River? Indeed, my wife back then was very straightforward and impatient, and she also loved helping others. She often said: "I still have some residual vision. I am very happy to be able to do what I can for everyone. This is also God's grace to me!" It was her crystal heart that moved me, and she also I really appreciate my sincerity and open-mindedness and my little bit of so-called "talent". We have more contacts, we often talk freely and know each other's ins and outs. She also came from the countryside and came from hard times. She is equally diligent and studious, and she also loves life. We are in love with each other, encourage each other, and the seeds of love sprout quietly. When we told our parents all this, our father said: "You know best whether the shoes fit your feet, and the one that suits you is the best. You make the decision about your marriage, and we believe in your vision." However, her family strongly opposed it. : Two blind people live together, how will they live in the future? I wrote an affectionate letter to my future father-in-law, and she brought many "Shoujiabao" with my articles to show to her family. With our joint efforts, my parents-in-law finally recognized me as their son-in-law. On January 7, 2007, we walked hand in hand on the red carpet, and our lovers finally got married. Not long after we got married, we bought a house in Jinan, and my wife studied while working. Over the past few years, she has obtained the National Second-Class Psychological Counselor, the Qualification Certificate of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, and the undergraduate diploma of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Now we are preparing to open our own acupuncture and massage clinic to realize our entrepreneurial dream!
Beethoven said, "You must seize the throat of fate." Zheng Banqiao said, "You sweat your own sweat, eat your own food, do your own things, and rely on people, heaven, and ancestors. You are not a good man!" And I always firmly believe that in the face of difficulties and setbacks, if we don’t bow to fate, we all have the power to save ourselves! I decide my destiny. As long as I go in the right direction and move forward step by step, I will eventually reach my goal and happiness!
