Practice calligraphy

Copy books:

Personally, I have been to Tian Yingzhang's pen copybook before. Generally, the copybooks of famous artists can be used, and so can the copybooks of writing brushes. China's hard-pen calligraphy is rooted in soft-pen calligraphy.

Practice method:

In fact, the most important thing in practicing calligraphy is persistence. Don't be greedy every time, write ten to twenty words repeatedly and practice for an hour every day. Generally, the initial effect will be achieved after several months.

Writing begins with copying. Copying begins with copying, which means "tracing red" and covers the description with transparent paper. Pro is to write by contrast, to master the back posts, and to write as well as possible without looking at the copybooks. Check every time you finish writing, see if there are any shortcomings and try to correct them.

Don't start by practicing calligraphy. It is the foundation to practice block letters first, then basic strokes and structures. If you just want to look good in your daily writing, practice block letters first, and then practice running letters.

Pen:

Generally, the artistic pen (elbow pen) is used to practice calligraphy, so the water is even and the writing is smooth, and you don't need a high-grade pen (of course, if you don't care about money, you can buy Montblanc or Beric and bend the pen with pliers yourself ...). Hard-pen copybooks are written by artistic pens. If you want to look like a copy, you must use an art pen (it is also convenient to check the difference between your handwriting and a famous artist). Practice writing with an art pen, and ordinary straight pens can naturally write beautiful words.
