From 65438 to 0994, the first collection of Hong Tao's calligraphy published by China Three Gorges Publishing House came out. Li Duo, a famous calligrapher and vice-chairman of China Calligraphy Association, spoke highly of Hong Tao's calligraphy in the preface of Hong Tao Calligraphy Collection. This book printed 10,000 copies and sold out in just two years, which shows the popularity of its works among the people.

1999 10, Mr. Hong Tao's calligraphy works were collected as art treasures in the activities jointly sponsored by China Literature and Art magazine, Soong Ching Ling Foundation Office, Artists Committee of China Talent Research Association of Ministry of Personnel and Editorial Committee of 2 1 Century New Culture Classic Series.
From June 5, 2000 to 10, Mr. Hong Tao was hired as a member and tutor of the academic exchange seminar organized by the Artists Committee of China Talent Research Association of the Ministry of Personnel. From June 5, 2002 to1October 28, 2002, Mr. Hong Tao continued to be employed as the deputy director of the Artists Committee Department of China Talent Research Association of the Ministry of Personnel.
In June 2002, Mr Hong Tao was awarded the ISE evaluation certificate by the Artists Committee of China Talent Research Association of the Ministry of Personnel, with the certificate number A008.
On April 5th, 2004, Mr Hong Tao was invited to write an inscription for the 50th anniversary of the founding of Wuyi Primary School, which was applied to commemorative stamps and large picture books.
On May 2, 2004, after being audited by the editorial department of China Talent Research Association of the Ministry of Personnel, Mr. Hong Tao's work "My Account" and his resume were included in ISQ9000A Art System Qualification Certificate ISE Artists' Works Collection.
