Heart is king, courage is handsome, hands and feet are soldiers, eyes are flags, and smell comes first.

Three realms of Shaolin traditional boxing

The first realm-external five elements and spiritual strength

Learning Shaolin traditional martial arts, like other sects, is to practice shape first. The form of Shaolin traditional Wushu is divided into five elements: external and internal. The five external factors to be discussed here are eyes, hands, body, method and step.

The so-called eyes are to see, and you must have keen observation and penetration. Keep an eye on its goal, wait for its change and don't let it go. Only careful observation and correct judgment can make a decisive attack and hit it with one blow. In martial arts, it is often used to point up and down and make a diversion, which is the wonderful use of the eyes. There is a cloud on the ancient spectrum: the eyes move first. People who practice the first realm must first practice their eyes.

Hands, hands are weapons on people. You can punch, palm, attack and defend. Different tactics can be changed according to different needs of attack or defense. Every movement of Shaolin Boxing has three potentials: starting, following and chasing. The so-called starting, following and chasing all start from the tip, follow in the middle and chase at the root. The arm is the tip of the three major joints of the human body, and its starting position is eversion and eversion, which is one of the characteristics that distinguish Shaolin boxing from other boxing types. The human arm can also be divided into three sections: the palm is a sharp section, the elbow is a middle section and the shoulder is a root section. He also includes three potentials: starting with the hand, following with the elbow and chasing with the shoulder, which are also three stages of attack. When defending, the hand should roll with the trend, close to the body and make up for the flaw.

Body, the body is the hub of the human body and the master of power transmission. There is a cloud in the ancient spectrum: it is wonderful to make moves with your hands and progress with your feet. But whether it is a move or progress, it is very important. Only when the body rolls in can the hand roll out. As the middle of the three sections of the body, if the middle section is unknown, the whole body is empty. Move, be still, be anxious, be slow, flash, unfold, soar, move, and do everything in your body.

Method is method, and whether the practice method is correct or not directly determines the effect of practice. The coordinated combination of eye method, manipulation, body method and footwork constitutes Shaolin Boxing. The practice methods of Shaolin boxing can be divided into positioning practice and non-positioning practice. The so-called fixed training is to practice a trick and a situation along the routine, and the process of training is a fixed model. But it is uncertain to use it in actual combat. Fixed posture is the rudiment and foundation of indefinite posture, and we practice fixed posture to meet the needs of indefinite posture in the future. From fixed to unfixed is a gradual process, and only through solid practice can we gradually change from fixed to unfixed.

Step, the root of three sections, is the source of human strength. As the name implies, step is the foundation of human body. Gong Zhuang in Shaolin Boxing embodies this point incisively and vividly. In and out, landing, attacking, advancing and retreating all require steady steps. Bow, horse, jump, virtual, rest and other walking methods should be light, agile and flexible. Shaolin boxing's footwork also pays attention to "stepping forward and then pedaling", which is also the uniqueness of Shaolin boxing's footwork.

Practicing the five elements is mainly the coordination of practicing movements, and the eight essentials of practicing Shaolin boxing are: lifting, advancing and retreating, turning sideways and closing vertically. Rising is for the sake of smooth ups and downs, rising is for showing off, and falling is for shrinking. It rises like a tripod and falls like a brick. If you make progress, step on it; if you go backwards, poke it. Progress should be low, retrogression should be high, step by step, and fight. Turn over and smash, quickly sideways. Turn around and look around, sideways. Eat it, but take it out. Like a cat, like a tiger. Every movement should be practiced according to posture eight. In the eye, hand, body, method and step, the eye is the standard, the hand should be opened and closed, the body should be rotated, the method should be changed, and the step should be advanced and backward. This is the first priority for those who practice the first realm. Essence, qi, spirit and strength are also important parts that Shaolin boxing practitioners need to practice in the first realm. The essence is spirit, and the spirit of Shaolin Boxing is mainly reflected in four aspects of the body, that is, the "four tips". That is, hair is the tip of blood, teeth are the tip of bone, tongue is the tip of meat, and nails are the tip of tendons. At the same time, the four tips must be aligned. Hair, anger and rushing to the crown; Teeth, teeth can break gold; Tongue, tongue can destroy power; Pointing, such as steel nails. Qi is the breath. There is a saying in Shaolin boxing score: one breath connects heaven and earth, and two breaths separate mountains and rivers. What is a breath? A breath is a breath. The opening and closing of breathing and movement are mutual care and complement each other. The suction is off and down, and the call is open. In sending and receiving, receiving is sucking and calling is sending. It's like being entangled in 10 thousand steel ropes when you suck it. When summoned, it shakes its body with the strength of ten thousand people and breaks Gang Suo. Whether your breathing is properly adjusted and used directly determines the strength and speed of your punches. Affect the coordination of your whole body and the standardization of your movements. As the ancients said, practicing boxing requires practicing spirit first. Therefore, practicing Qi is also an important part of practicing Shaolin boxing. Before practicing boxing, we should first be depressed. What is a sinking belly? It is a kind of stimulation to the abdomen obtained by guiding the downward movement of qi sensation with consciousness, which makes the body's center of gravity drop and the gait smooth. After sinking into the abdomen, to be mindful is to get rid of other thoughts and concentrate on the abdomen, but we are deaf and blind. The heart is nothing more than qi, locked in the heart, tied to a horse, and wholeheartedly experiencing the activities of qi. Shaolin boxing's eight-segment brocade is unique in practice. God, God and verve. To practice its behavior, it is necessary to have its spirit, especially its rhyme. Shaolin ancient boxing spectrum has a cloud: the head is like a monkey, the body is like a dragon and the steps are like a chicken. In other words, when practicing Shaolin boxing, the head should be as sensitive and changeable as a monkey. The body should be as agile and flexible as a dragon. Be as light and steady as a rooster. When practicing boxing, there must be a surging river, a thousand miles of majestic water. Small, there must be a quiet escape like a breeze blowing fine water. Practice behavior with posture and express rhythm with your heart. Force is for strength. Shaolin boxing also has its own uniqueness and unique method of exerting force. This is also an important reason why Shaolin Wushu has been in an invincible position in the martial arts field in China. There are three stages of exertion: First, through practicing Gong Zhuang, the power generated by the organic cooperation of the external five elements is the basic power. Second, under the premise of correct and standardized movements, after long-term hard practice, the strength generated by the flexibility of the body is called ingenuity. Third, when you are in hand-to-hand combat, you use your subconscious to drive all parts of your body and condense your strength at one point. This is called inch strength. In this state, when the attack changes, power should form a natural force. It is the potential strength of human body, which is combined with external five elements and essence.

The external five elements and spirit of the first realm are the basis and basis for practicing Shaolin Wushu. Only through hard training can we have a preliminary understanding of Shaolin traditional martial arts and realize the connotation of "heart is king, courage is handsome, eyes are the standard, qi is the first, brothers are soldiers"

The second realm-the combination of internal and external five elements and nature

The first realm of Shaolin traditional boxing, we have introduced the external five elements and spirit of Shaolin boxing in detail and comprehensively. To practice the first realm, we must practice the routines taught by teachers in a down-to-earth manner from the beginning, and we must not be careless in every move and situation. The skills that the master taught you are the result of his years of accumulation. Take this as a platform, use your own thoughts to understand and practice, form your own style, and leap to a higher level and a higher realm. This stage is both a harvest stage and a self-sufficient stage for martial arts practitioners. At this stage, most martial arts practitioners feel that they have made some achievements and have been carried away by the flowers and money that followed. I can't practice any more. I think I can, even think it's the result of practicing martial arts, so I stopped. But after the test of time, the baptism of spring, summer, autumn and winter, your thoughts begin to change slowly, and you will feel that you have not practiced enough. When we practice martial arts, we practice our own opening and closing, our own gap. Every action is open, every silence is closed, and opening and closing are the process of action. When opening and closing, it exposed its own shortcomings, which is the gap. In order to make up for our own gap faster and better, we must fully integrate the outer five elements with the inner five elements, raise our spirit to the highest level, and reach the realm of understanding. This is the stage of taste. Just like what kind of tea uses what kind of water, what season where the tea tastes best, and what kind of tea uses how high temperature water. The use of tea sets and the art of pouring tea can be combined to show your level of tea tasting and your kung fu. This stage is the stage when you taste martial arts, and you will find that your thoughts can surpass people. But we can't go beyond martial arts, let alone the realm of Zen. At this point, you begin to think about the theory of circle in your heart, "Never leave the lock except planting, follow the Bank of China from the beginning, and every word is in the circle."

In the second realm, we must first thoroughly understand the internal five elements, and then organically combine them with the external five elements to integrate them into one, and then we can communicate with nature. "In addition to planting, we will never leave the lock, follow the Bank of China, and form a circle." In the second realm, we must first thoroughly understand the internal five elements, and then organically combine them with the external five elements to integrate them into one, and then we can communicate with nature. As the ancients said, a gentleman cultivates himself, both inside and outside. The same is true when we practice Shaolin traditional boxing. External five elements: eyes, hands and body, and internal five elements: heart, liver, spleen, lung and kidney. The exterior is yang and the interior is yin. The exterior behavior of Table 5 can be expressed directly through the body. The internal five elements are internal and cannot be expressed in form. But it is the deepest and most substantial contact with the inner thoughts and consciousness of the human body. So it will be a higher level than the external five elements, and it will be more difficult to practice. To cultivate the inner five elements is to make full use of the consciousness of the brain, twist the spirit into one, and let the consciousness pass through the inner five elements one by one. The order is: fire liver and wood attack the heart, improve eyesight, send spleen and transport lung qi, and move into the kidney. It means: when practicing boxing, strengthen your liver and courage, concentrate on your eyes, breathe naturally, move your heart with you, and hold hands. This is what the song says: body and mind go hand in hand, two fists and one leg, the first hand rises and the second hand follows, and the hand changes hands. When practicing boxing, you should use your brain's consciousness to guide the internal rotation of the five elements, making them like the water of the Yangtze River. The inner five elements drive the outer five elements to complete a series of actions. The process of completing this series of actions is also a process in which the yang of the outer five elements and the yin of the inner five elements balance and dominate each other, thus achieving the balance of yin and yang. There is a cloud in "The Ancient Boxing Manual": it is necessary to rise horizontally, fall smoothly, rise and fall smoothly, and it is difficult to get close. Its requirements are: start from the level, not the level, not the smooth landing. The rise and fall of practicing boxing is the law, and everything in the world can only be changed if there is a law. The law itself is natural, so the cross in the fist is yang, the shun is yin, and the combination of yin and yang changes, which conforms to the law of natural change. Invincibility in front of us seems to have enemies, that is to say, when practicing, we should devote ourselves to practicing and concentrate our consciousness and thoughts. Put yourself in an embattled position with consciousness, and don't allow yourself the slightest slack and mistakes. Sweating more in peacetime and bleeding less in wartime is the purpose of our martial arts practice. This goal is not only the goal of beginners, but also the goal pursued by all practitioners. All the people are hovering around this goal, which makes you confused about what Toya can't understand. This is the mystery and mystery of Shaolin boxing, which makes you want to surpass it, but you can't and can't surpass it.

In this realm, we must also master the "Liuhe". The ancient Shaolin boxing spectrum includes: the unparalleled biography of Shaolin Liuhe, which is somewhat mysterious here. Liuhe is divided into outer triad and inner triad. External triad refers to hand-foot joints, elbow joints and knee joints, shoulder joints and hip joints; Inner Trinity is the combination of heart and heart, heart and qi, qi and work. The external trinity is external and can be freely expressed in form and form. Therefore, when practicing boxing, you should be meticulous and always pay attention to whether your external triad has been shared. The inner triad is internal and needs to be felt with your own brain and consciousness. Combine the inner triad with the outer triad with your own consciousness, so that it can assist your movements to the maximum extent. Practice the table with the outer triad and practice the meaning with the inner triad. In other words, the practice of inner triad is also the development of wisdom. Every move and style of Shaolin Boxing is in Liuhe. One opening, one closing, one falling, one entering and one retreating, one sucking and one sucking, all moving and static are in Liuhe. Wushu has five elements inside and outside. External five elements: eyes, hands and body steps; Internal five elements: heart, liver, spleen, lung and kidney. Naturally, Jin Mu has five elements: fire, water and earth. The five elements interact and complement each other, forming an indispensable space for heaven, earth and people. The cycle of natural birth and death is the living space of human beings in the natural changes of Yin and Yang. Five elements are the source of variety. Martial arts is one of them. Only by combining the eye, hand and body movements of the outer five elements and the heart, spleen, lung and kidney of the inner five elements with the golden fire and earth of nature can we reach the highest state. To say the source of resultant force and Buddhism, we must understand the relationship between the five elements and their restraint, and understand it with heart and wisdom.

At this stage, the wonder of attracting potential is no longer the goal pursued by this realm, and you will feel the rugged, long and difficult Tao. At this time, boxing, martial arts and practice were all opened. Practice its Tao, move its circle, dance its feelings, know its wonders and realize its Zen.

Moving like a thousand pounds, still like a clear spring, the five elements help each other, and everything returns to nature.

The third realm-the integration of boxing and Zen

Through the combination of internal and external five elements and natural five elements, that is, the combination of boxing and nature. We know that boxing is a natural product. In order to survive, human beings struggle with heaven, earth and people, beg for life from nature and live from nature. Do your best to transport the axe to save your life, chop rain and fog, sweep obstacles and find your way home. Mankind has gone through a difficult and long journey. In this difficult and long course, mankind has gradually found out the temper of nature and understood the law of natural changes of yin and yang in heaven and earth. I also know how to let nature take its course and how to integrate myself into nature. Mankind has accumulated a whole set of survival experience and skills to resist or avoid nature, and Wushu is one of them.

Shaolin Temple is the ancestral home of Zen Buddhism, which determines that Shaolin Boxing and Zen Buddhism are inextricably linked. Shaolin boxing has been spread since the Southern and Northern Dynasties, with a history of 1000 years. The reason why Shaolin boxing has been enduring for more than 1000 years has always attracted the attention of the world. It is not that we can only fight and kill, but that we are closely linked with Zen and are in harmony with each other. Shaolin Boxing is the inevitable product of the perfect combination of China's history, culture and Buddhism, and its significance has gone far beyond fighting on the battlefield. It formed an ancient culture, became the quintessence of China, and merged with the supreme thought of Zen. In order to make up for the lack of opening and closing movements in boxing, we should combine the internal three elements of heart, spirit, qi and strength with the internal five elements of heart, liver, spleen, lung and kidney to practice the development of wisdom. The combination of martial arts and Zen has also developed into "martial arts and Zen". Zen is an empty concept, as if there is nothing, nothing. You can't see or catch it, let alone start to understand and study. Only by combining it with martial arts can it be transformed from nothingness into entity and martial arts become its spokesperson. We can proceed from reality, fundamentally, use Zen to supplement boxing and fully show Zen with boxing.

People often say "the combination of Zen and boxing" or "the combination of Zen and martial arts", which undoubtedly means that Zen and boxing are inseparable. They depend on each other and live together. The quality, personality, understanding of Wushu purpose and outlook on life of Wushu learners directly affect the level of Wushu you can achieve. This is the Zen that we need to learn and practice. Mistakes or deviations in your understanding are magic on your path of meditation. Only by eliminating the influence of evil and cutting thorns with wisdom and truth can we reach the peak of martial arts. Combining rigidity with softness is boxing, and crystal clear is Zen. Only by finding yourself in the clear water of Zen, seeing nature clearly and surpassing yourself can we give full play to the inside story and connotation of boxing. To achieve this state, we must first raise our thoughts and consciousness to a higher level, a higher level. Combine Zen with boxing to achieve the realm of Zen and wisdom in boxing. This is also the state of mind that Shaolin boxing practitioners will eventually achieve.

If human beings want to surpass nature, they must first see themselves and understand themselves. Only by seeing one's face clearly and understanding one's essence can one further change one's thinking and deeply understand one's instinct, one's potential, structure, qi and blood, the law of operation, the conclusion of acupoint time, the change of weather and one's mood. At this time, you will feel that people are so simple and ordinary. The promotion of ideological realm is naturally inseparable from the influence of ancient culture, art of war, calligraphy and chess interest. Talking about Zen and martial arts will make your thoughts and sentiments achieve Excellence. At this point, many martial arts questions and difficulties will be solved, and the mind will change suddenly. The combination of ancient culture and martial arts, art of war, chess interest and calligraphy seem omnipotent. Qinqi, calligraphy and painting are all fists, and walking, sitting and lying are all Zen. The combination of Wushu with the art of war, strategy and yin and yang constitutes the soul of ancient war. During the abbot's tenure, Master Fuyu of the Yuan Dynasty was a military horse in the three provinces around Neng Tribe. In the Ming Dynasty, the monk was in Pingwo for three times. This is a theory that fully integrates the theory of Wu Zen into the war, taking Wu as the entity of war and Zen as the theory of war. The two coordinate and dominate each other, forming the main body of the war. Whether Zen and boxing are properly matched and used directly determines the success or failure of the war.

Shaolin boxing, from the inner five elements to the outer five elements, from the outer three elements to the inner three elements, until the integration of Zen and martial arts, has made an overall plan from beginning to end to strengthen the body, serve the country and cultivate the mind. Shaolin Boxing, from seeking action and moves to seeking thoughts and tastes to being wise, enlightened by Zen and wisdom, truly embodies its profoundness and is worthy of being the supreme martial art and the treasure of China. People who can reach the third realm should not only have good innate qualifications, but also have continuous learning, tempering and accumulation, high martial arts morality and high cultural accomplishment, so as to learn nutrition from ancient culture, observe the world and realize life.

Boxing is practiced in the brain and changes randomly.

The three paragraphs are distinct and wonderful, and Liuhe seeks the mystery.

Internal and external five elements are solid, and the method is variable.

The integration of Zen and martial arts is naturally rational.

In the long-term bitter grinding, Buddha is perfect.
