Urban land is an irregular oval with an area of nearly 6.5438+0.4 million square meters. When dissecting the city wall, we found rammed earth city walls belonging to Longshan culture, Spring and Autumn Period, Warring States Period and Qin and Han Dynasties, as well as tombs, ditches and other relics. In this work, a large number of cultural relics from different periods were unearthed and collected. According to the archaeological data found and the analysis of literature records, it can be considered that the site of Fanggu Town is the site of an ancient city built during the Longshan culture period, an important town in eastern Shandong during the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, and the county seat of Huaxian County in the Han Dynasty.
