Song Dynasty: Fan Chengda
West Shili ripe fragrant rice, hibiscus fence long bamboo silk, hanging fruit green and yellow.
The dense fog knows that the autumn morning is wet, and the thin clouds cover the sun and noon, so there is no need to fly over to protect the army.

Golden ten-mile flat land, fragrant rice fragrance, red hibiscus flowers beside the farmhouse bamboo fence, long bamboo swaying in the wind, countless green and yellow mountain fruits hanging on the branches and smiling.
The fog is getting thicker in the autumn morning, and the humid air is refreshing. The thin clouds at noon covered the sun again, not to mention protecting my uniform with a cover.

Fan Chengda is a poet who loves nature and rural life. Although he was "tired of being an official in the official department, he became familiar with politics, tasted the handsome in Shu, succeeded in being handsome in Guangxi, and came to Jinling", he had a childlike feeling for the countryside. Judging from the sentence "no need to fly over to protect military uniforms", this poem should be written in military life.
Xiaoling wrote down what he saw on Jiangcun Road: ten miles flat, yellow ears of rice, the breeze curling, bringing the fragrance of the new valley, while plain hibiscus flowers fell in front of the farmhouse fence, with white petals, and wisps of gossamer among bamboos shining golden in the bright autumn sun. The poet rode on a hill full of fruits and trees and looked up. These three poems are three typical image group, which vividly summarize the beautiful scenery of the countryside in autumn and write the unique features of farmers in the south of the Yangtze River. Moreover, the fluidity of perspective and the variability of whereabouts make readers appreciate the scenery along Jiangcun Road with the pounding of the poet's hooves, and the poet's love for rural life and natural scenery naturally emerges from the description of this scenery, which makes readers subtly infected.
Xiagan poets' feelings about Jiangcun Road. Of course, going to the city is also a poet's feeling, but it focuses on a subjective expression of emotion: "Dense fog makes autumn morning moist", and writes the subtle feeling of walking in dense fog in the morning: dense fog often floats in the fields in autumn morning. The ancients said "it's quite critical", but they didn't know that autumn could be known in dense fog. This refinement from art to philosophy is unknown, so it is very novel and unique. The fog is thick and the humidity is high, and the air is humid when the humidity is high. "Autumn morning is wet" is a summary of the art and philosophy of life, but a symbol of the poet's hope to return to nature. "Thin clouds cover the sun, and it is cloudy at noon" is another intuitive feeling of the poet walking on Jiangcun Road. It is associated with "no need to fly to protect military uniforms", so it has rich connotations: Is "thin cloud" a sun umbrella that covers the sky? With such an umbrella, people can not only enjoy the natural shade, but also avoid the exposure of the cool sun, which is 100 times stronger than the fly cover in front of the car. The poet seems to have a sustenance here: returning to nature is much more than military freedom, and the profound meaning of the poem lies here.
Extended reading: Fan Chengda's main achievement in calligraphy
Fan Chengda's good books. His calligraphy is fresh and handsome, elegant and handsome, but unfortunately it is covered by the title of the poem, and the title is not obvious. Tao's Book and History Society of the Ming Dynasty said that Fan Chengda's "Ci listening and Mi Fei, though full of rhyme, are impressive". Fan Chengda's calligraphy was influenced by his mother, Mrs Cai, who was the granddaughter of Cai Xiang, one of the four great calligraphers in the Northern Song Dynasty.
Mo Bao handed down from Fan Chengda was mostly written in letters and bamboo slips. He was drinking and writing poems with Lu You in Chengdu, and the ink on the paper was not dry. Wan Shinv read it, and Yuefu gave him a string song and a screen fan. Unfortunately, these inks have not been handed down. Fan Chengda's handwriting can still be seen today, with his 54-year-old book "Ming Zhou Buddhist figure poem tablet" as the first. This monument has long been lost, but Song Tuoben is hidden in Dongfu Temple. Fan Chengda's existing handwriting also includes He Zi Memorial Zagreb, Chuihai Zagreb, Sulisha Fish Zagreb and so on. His running script "Pastoral Miscellaneous Volume" is also often appreciated by people. In the Ming Dynasty, Wang Shizhen said in Yizhou Mountain Man Draft that Fan Chengda "retired from Shihu to write poems. Regardless of bamboo branches, partridges and family characters, the story of farmers in Wuzhong has been finished! Calligraphy goes in and out of Meishan (Su Shi) and Zhang Yu (Huang Tingjian), with Mi Dian (Mi Fei) in the middle. They are mature and beautiful, and their business is bleak. " Dong Shi said in History of Han and Song Dynasties: "(Fan Chengda) is famous for its capable books in modern times", "The word is old in the valley, with infinite rhyme and considerable strength."
