Famous scenic spot
Jishan County has a long history, and there are many cultural relics, such as Wang Ji Temple, Qingyuan Temple, Song and Jin Tombs, and Big Buddha Temple. The murals of Yuan Dynasty in Qinglong Temple, built in Tang Dynasty and temples, are very valuable for studying the development of China painting. Fourteen tombs in the Jin Dynasty, carved in imitation of wooden structure and brick, are shaped like stage figures, which provide reliable evidence for studying the history of Chinese drama. Historically, Pei Yaoqing, a famous figure in the Tang Dynasty, a famous remonstrator in the late Jin Dynasty, Yao Tianfu, a famous minister in the early Yuan Dynasty, Liang Gang, a calligrapher in the Ming Dynasty, and Wang Wenzhai, an expert in flower exploration in the Qing Dynasty, all took the lead and gained far-reaching fame. As witnesses of history, places of interest are more precious. Seiryuji murals can be compared with Yongle Palace murals; Xinghua Temple mural is "one of the best existing Buddhist temple murals in China" and has been exhibited in Beijing Taihe Palace West Temple for many years. The "Ancient Tomb Research Center" invested by the province in Macun has the only complete ancient tomb of Jin Dynasty in China, which provides physical evidence for the study of drama, sculpture and architecture in Song and Jin Dynasties. And a famous ancient battlefield like "Yubi City", which has both documents and exact sites, is of great significance.
