Wen Yanbo (October 23, 1006 - June 16, 1097), also known as Kuanfu and Yisou. A native of Jiexiu, Fenzhou (now Jiexiu, Shanxi). A famous politician and calligrapher in the Northern Song Dynasty. Known as one of the three wise men of Jiexiu.

In the fifth year of Tiansheng's reign (1027), Wen Yanbo became a Jinshi. He has successively served as the imperial censor, deputy transfer envoy, etc. In the seventh year of Qingli (1047), he served as deputy envoy to the privy council and participated in political affairs. King Ping then revolted and made contributions to Wen Yanbo's introduction. He paid homage to Tong Ping Zhangshi. In the third year of Huangyou's reign (1051), he was impeached and dismissed as prime minister, and he sent out troops from Xu, Qing, Yongxing and other states. In the second year of Zhihe (1055), he returned to his prime minister. In the third year of Jiayou's reign (1058), Wen Yanbo was introduced to Henan and other places and was granted the title of Duke of Lu. During the reign of Emperor Shenzong, he opposed Wang Anshi's reform and criticized the Market Change Law for "damaging the state and causing dissatisfaction among the people". In the sixth year of Yuanfeng (1083), Etaishi became an official. In the first year of Zhe Zong Yuanyou's reign (1086), because of Sima Guang's recommendation, he paid homage to Pingzhang for important military and state affairs. In the fifth year of Yuanyou (1090), he became an official again.

In the fourth year of Shaosheng's reign (1097), he was conferred the title of Prince Shaobao. He died in the same year at the age of ninety-two. During the reign of Huizong, he and Sima Guang and others were merged into the Yuanyou Party Monument. Later, he was restored to the Grand Master and given the posthumous title of Zhonglie. In the sixty-first year of Kangxi's reign (1722), the temple was dedicated to the emperors of all dynasties.
