Where does Xuancheng come from?

Thanks to Xuancheng for a lifetime.

Li Bai is fascinated by Xie Tiao, and once summed up the style with the word "Qingfa": "The bones of great writers are all your brushes. In Tianyuan, I grew up beside you as Xiao Xie." Xiao Xie means Xie Tiao. Both Xie Tiao and Xie Lingyun are good at Moshan geomantic omen, while Xie Tiao's time has fallen behind, so people call Xie Lingyun a big Xie and Xie Tiao Xiao Xie. Li Bai's poem is titled "Song of Accompanying Yu Shuhua to the Building". In the previous sentence, Mei Lihua (or Liu Yun) said that his article had the character of Jian 'an, while in the latter sentence, it was implicit. Li Bai's poems are magnificent, such as rivers rushing, fresh and handsome, such as the bright moon in the sky. The latter style was influenced by Xie Tiao. As for Xie Tiao Tower, also known as Xiegong Tower and Xie Tiao North Tower, it is a historic site related to Xie Tiao's appointment as the prefect of Xuancheng. Li Bai mentioned it many times in his poems, such as "Qiu Deng Xuancheng Xie Tiao North Building": "Who misses the North Building, and the breeze is grateful to the public?" Is to see his admiration. Legend has it that Xie Tiao built a special house at the foot of Gushu Castle Peak in Xuancheng (now Dangtu, Anhui) with excellent scenery. Later generations named their mountains Xie Gong Mountain and Xie Jia Qing Mountain. There is a well on the mountain called Xie Gongjing. At the foot of the mountain, there is a city called Xiejiacheng. Taibai lived in Dangtu in his later years and loved it deeply. Before his death, his last words were buried at the foot of the mountain. It was impossible for some reason at that time. Decades later, Fang moved to the west foot of Qingshan. Taibai's poetic soul can wander in the traces of poets he admires, which can be said to be Jiuquan smiling.

Xie Tiao's poems are often mentioned in Li Bai's poems. For example, The New Linpu Windward Send Friends: "Make a new Linpu in the Ming Dynasty and sing Xie Tiao's poems in the air", which means that Xie Tiao "went to Banqiao from Xuancheng County and a new Linpu". Another example is "Autumn Night Banqiao Pu Panyue Thanks to Huai":

What is in the sky? Far away, white jade rope. It is difficult for Jinling to build a chapter obliquely. Hanshui River is as old as practice, and the first frost River is clear at night. The moon falls in Changchuan, and the boat congeals in Han Xiao. ……

The description in the poem reminds people of Xie Tiao's "Send Xinlin, the summer capital, to Jingyi as a gift to colleagues in Xifu". It was written by the poet when he was about to build health in the east of Jingzhou. This poem describes the night scene:

The autumn river is gloomy, and the cold night is gloomy. Leading the Wangjing room, the palace pheasant is opposite. Gold is beautiful, magpie, and jade rope is low.

This is the time when the sky is about to dawn. The milky way in the sky is shining, and the island in the middle of the river is light black and dark blue, shrouded in the cold night. Looking at the capital, I saw the palace and the tower facing each other, and the moonlight plated them with beautiful gold, and the Big Dipper hung down towards them. What a magnificent night view of Beijing! Darkness and light, tranquility and vitality live in harmony. Obviously, the artistic conception and language of Li Bai's poems are intended to imitate Xie Tiao. As for the phrase "Hanshui River is as old as practice, and the night is bright on the frosty moon river", it is also reminiscent of the famous sentence "Chengjiang River is as quiet as practice" in Xie Tiao's "Going to Sanshan Late". Li Bai's "Chanting the Moon on the West Tower of Jinling City" is a masterpiece in the moonlight, and he also specifically mentioned this famous sentence: "Explaining the Tao' Chengjiang is as quiet as practicing', which makes people forget Xie Xuanhui." Xie Tiao also described the scenery of Jing Ke in that poem, but it was not moonlit, but dusk:

The sun sets on the towering roof, and the houses in Beijing are not so high and low. The residual clouds of the sunset are scattered like rosy clouds, and the clear river is as calm as white. Noisy birdsong covers the spring, and all kinds of flowers cover the countryside in the suburbs.

The poet is about to leave the capital. He climbed three mountains near the Yangtze River in the southwest of Jiankang. Looking back, he saw the scenery he was already familiar with, and it was so beautiful at this time! The setting sun shines on the eaves, high and low, vividly. With the transfer of the glory of the sunset, the light and shadow on the roof flow slowly and harmoniously. The sunset glow is spreading and changing, like colorful brocade forging. The clear river flows away quietly, just like a white horse stretching out to the horizon. This "quietness" is not only calm, but also because the photos in the evening are so soft; If it is in the strong sunshine, the water will be covered with broken gold, which will be impressive and will not give people the feeling of "quiet". It is Bai Si who "practices". "Like a lotus" not only describes the color of the sunset reflected by the river, but also describes the silky feeling. What a delicate feeling! No wonder Li Bai admired it. Noisy Birds is a close-up, with lively chirps and colorful colors. The words "Fu" and "Man" reveal the poet's sincere admiration and make people realize his infinite attachment to the capital.

Li Bai also mentioned Xie Tiao's poem in Appreciation of Yin Mingzuo and Five Clouds of Qiu Ge: "I sing Xie Tiao's poem, and the north wind blows and the rain blows. There are no green mountains and empty skies in Xie Tiao, and there is Yin Gong later. " The sentence "Talking about the Wind" refers to Xie Tiao's "Watching the Rain":

The north wind blows rain, and the river comes up. Now that we have scattered hundreds of observations, we should reassemble them into 90% units. As empty as mist and as loose as Egypt. ……

This is also an example of hard work from the beginning, giving people a sense of imposing Qi Fei. Sixteen feet remain unchanged, and 100 observations are extremely high. 90% is nine floors, which means it is high. The sentence "Empty Meng" says that the rain has turned into Mao Mao rain, and the object is meticulous, but it is not as dynamic as the sentence "Shuofeng". Yin, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, said in "Happy Rain": "Clouds in the mountains change at will, and rain flies over eastern Zhejiang." The next sentence should be two sentences from Xie Tiao, but the last sentence is reluctant, which seems to be out of proportion to the next sentence. In Su Shi's "Rainstorm in Youmeitang", he said: "The black wind blows the sea, and the rain in eastern Zhejiang flies over Jiang Lai." Although copied from the original sentence, but heroic and vigorous, imposing manner. The size of talent is really different. And Xie Tiao's founding exploits are even more important.

Xie Tiao wrote many beautiful sentences about scenery, so we might as well give some more: "The trees are far away and the buildings are warm, and the smoke is boundless. Fish play with new lotus, birds scatter flowers. " (You Dongtian) Spring is full of vitality. "Exquisite knot yee money, deeply reflected Zhu net. As soon as the red medicine is turned over, the moss is built. " ("Knowledge in the Book, Province") is naturally a palace scene. The poem "Old Ridges and New Ridges Divide, Young Seedlings Reflect White Water" ("Giving Poor Fields") and "White paddy fields are open to the outside world, and isolated mountains are scattered" ("Returning to Zhulinlian") includes farmland scenery. "When the sun rises in the Chuanjiang River, the scenery floats among the grass" (Hehuang Crossing Cao Shengxin Zhu Ting), "Cold grass reflects flowers, and the game moves in the air" ("You will swim in Xiangjiang River to find streams"), which is considerate and refined. All these have had a beneficial impact on the Tang people. Many of Wang Wei's landscape poems seem to be inspired by Xie Shi's poems, such as "White water is outside the field, the green peak is behind the mountain" ("Looking at the new sunny night"), "The ripples contain white sand, and the tuna seems to swim empty" ("Cool") and so on. A Qing and Wang Shizhen once said that Li Bai was "the first to thank Xuancheng in his life" ("On Poetry"), which is really good. And it is not just Li Bai who benefited from Xie Tiao, but a whole generation of poets.
