Ruruoye creek

Dynasty: Tang Dynasty

Author: Cui Hao

Original text:

What happened to the canoe? Already in Yunlin.

Sitting among fish and birds, shaking the mountains and rivers.

The voice in the rock answered, and the words in the stream were quiet.

Everything is quiet, stop radiating to the afterglow.

In this poem, the poet deliberately exaggerates the clear water color and quiet environment of Ruoyuexi, precisely to entrust the poet with his feelings of being happy and disgusted with turbidity, quiet and pleasant.

In a word or two, the narrator entered the Joye River by boat. The words "light", "where are you going" and "have arrived" convey the joy and surprise caused by the poet's fast sailing and coming. In three or four sentences, it describes the poet arriving at the foot of Yunmen Mountain, paddling gently on the clear stream like a mirror and enjoying the scenery. However, the poet did not positively describe the green hills, trees and flowers on both sides of the stream, or even wrote about Yunmen Mountain and yunmen temple. But deliberately express their feelings and blend in with the beautiful nature. The phrase "sitting between fish and birds" is about sitting happily on the boat, sometimes looking up at birds in the blue sky, and sometimes overlooking Qingxi to swim in the fish; The sentence "Shake the shadow of the landscape" describes that he naively paddled the stream and watched the reflection of the castle peak swaying in the water. These two poems show the poet's unrestrained body and mind, playing with fish and birds, playing with mountains and rivers, and being integrated with the wonderful nature. These two sentences focus on dynamics, showing a kind of "ethereal" realm from the activities of fish and birds, landscapes and poets themselves, which is clear, ethereal, smart and interesting.

Five or six sentences, deliberately rendering the tranquility of Qingxi. But the poet did not write it as a dead silence, but compared silence with sound. The poet listened attentively to the sounds made by the rocks on the bank of the stream and looked forward to the echoes of the rocks with great interest. At the same time, he also felt talking in this Qingxi, although the silence of the deep mountain canyon was temporarily broken; But when the words stopped, the environment became quieter and quieter. The quiet environment made the poet deeply sigh that "everything is quiet". At this time, the sunset that is about to disappear in the western world will shed a faint light on this clean stream. The poet couldn't help but stop the oar and face the sunset, letting his whole body bathe in the residual sunshine. This poem came to an abrupt end here. However, this beam of sunset light that shoots into the stream makes the winding Ruoye River walk all the way through the quiet and deep realm between the cliffs under the shade of the forest.
