People are made in heaven and detached from the crowd. They are close relatives of father and son, and have the friendship of monarch and minister. When they meet, there are old people to help young people and old people (6); The reason why this person is expensive is that he has gifts and kindness of love. It's the spirit of heaven. It's more expensive to feed on five grains, clothe Sang Ma, feed on six animals, ride horses and cattle, and fencing leopards as tigers. Therefore, Confucius said: "The nature of heaven and earth is also expensive (7)." The nature is clear, and the confidant is more expensive than the thing; A confidant is more valuable than things, and then you know righteousness (righteousness); Know the righteousness (righteousness), and then honor: honor, and then settle down (8); Be good at peace and then be happy; Happiness follows reason, and then it is called a gentleman. Therefore, Confucius said, "I don't know if I am alive, and death (nothing) is a gentleman (9)", which is the so-called.

Who can know if you don't understand feelings and don't follow customs? This Tang Yu is famous because he can be a mourner. Husband follows good and evil, and the scene echoes (influences) (10). So unruly and violent (1 1), slander thieves go hand in hand, sage and knowledge (wisdom) hide, evil is becoming more and more obvious, and the country is in chaos, naturally like the day in the sky (12), and eventually it will perish. Those who are unreasonable and disobedient will die in a day, and they will come gradually. Therefore, although Jie Li and Zhou died, they still enjoyed the country for more than ten years, which is also the way of immersion.
"Ce Wen" said: "Praise Yu Shun, mourn Shang Zhou. Seeing that these are gradually disappearing and prospering, I want to correct my mistakes with humility. " I heard that a small amount can earn a lot, and a small amount can earn a lot. Therefore, the sacred products dim and reach the light, and gradually reach the dignitaries from the humble position. Therefore, it was not a day's work that Yao rose from a vassal to the son of heaven, and Shun rose from a mountain farmer to the son of heaven, but it was gradually realized. I said that I can't stop it; The behavior is made by oneself and can't be concealed any more. Words and deeds are the most important conditions for governing the country, and they make the gentleman move the world. So every little makes a mickle, and careful attention to subtle behaviors will be famous. The Book of Songs says, "King Wen, be careful." Therefore, Yao practiced his way of governing the country with trepidation every day, and Shun performed filial piety carefully and nervously every day. He has accumulated much virtue, naturally became famous, demonstrated his virtue, gained the respect of others, and gradually became rich. Accumulate kindness in yourself, just as people grow up without realizing it; It is not easy for people to see the evil accumulated in themselves, just like a lamp consumes oil. Who can understand this truth if he is not a person who knows feelings and has insight into the secular world? This is why Tang Yao and Yu Shun have good reputations, while Xia Jie and Shang Zhou make people feel sad and fearful. The result of good and evil behavior is like a shadow following a human figure and an echo following a sound. Therefore, Zhou's tyranny is neglected, the wicked use it, and the wise hide it. As a result, Jie Li and Zhou's sin became more and more obvious day by day, and the country became chaotic day by day, but they still enjoyed it, thinking that they were like the sun in the sky, and eventually they gradually corrupted and even perished. Those cruel monarchs did not perish at once, but were also caused slowly. Therefore, although Jie Li and Zhou had no choice, they remained in power for more than ten years, which is why they gradually declined or even perished.
