The mountain here is as high as a barrier and as long as two open arms, holding this beautiful monument in your arms. In spring, the mountains are covered with yellow flowers and the paths are fragrant; In Qiu Lai with lush vegetation and clear sky, climbing mountains, exploring caves and watching pavilions are always refreshing. The ancient temple is located in this endless Cangshan, just like a lady with a half-hidden lute, shy and charming.
The trees here are famous for their ancient vitality. There are two old trees, one is Bai Zhou and the other is Tang Huai. That cypress tree, with straight trunk and wrinkled bark, lies on the stone steps, with several green branches at the top of the crown, just like an old man saying ancient words; That Tang Huai, with thick waist and crooked branches, has clusters of soft strips on the old stems, green leaves like a cover, a breeze blowing, a fairy-like look of a crane, and a childish face. The pines, cypresses, towers and willows outside other waterside temples all show many vicissitudes of life, and people always feel awe when swimming. There are grotesque ones, such as the left-handed cypress in front of Notre Dame, which soars into the sky, but its bark twists to the left together, round and round, and the silk pattern is not chaotic, like the smoke spinning underground and the rope hanging down from the sky. The rest are like old women holding water, some like strong men holding heaven, and so on. Under the protection of ancient trees, the temple is particularly quiet and elegant.

Yumo Grottoes
Compared with the Egyptian pyramids, the Indian Yamazaki Tower and the ruins of the Colosseum in ancient Rome, many cultural relics in China often have historical levels. The remains of other countries are generally built first, prosperous for a period of time, and then preserved in the form of pure remains for people to see. The Great Wall in China is not like this. It is always built and expanded from generation to generation. As a kind of space winding, the Great Wall closely corresponds to the winding of time. China has a long history, too many wars and too many sufferings. No pure relic can be preserved for a long time unless it is hidden underground, in a grave and in a secret place that is not noticed by ordinary people. Epang Palace was burnt down, Wang Teng Pavilion collapsed, and Yellow Crane Tower was newly rebuilt. Dujiangyan in Chengdu can be preserved for a long time because it has always played a water conservancy function. Therefore, the historical sites that have flourished so far always have an endless unique talent.
What makes foreign monuments proud of the Mogao Grottoes lies in its 1000 years of accumulation. Looking at the Mogao Grottoes is not about specimens that have been dead for a thousand years, but about life that has lived for a thousand years. What a magnificent life it is to live to be a thousand years old, with smooth blood flow and even breathing! Generations of artists came to us, and every artist was involved in a noisy background, where a parade spanning thousands of years was held. Complex clothes make us see things in a blur, and the standard sound makes our ears roar. In other places, you can bend down to play with a piece of gravel and a ridge of soil, but not here at all. You, too, were wrapped and staggered until you were melted by the torrent of history. Here, a person's senses are not enough, so just give up on yourself and let countless pairs of artistic giants crush you into dust.
Mogao Grottoes is one of the famous essays in Yu's Cultural Journey, which has a strong cultural atmosphere, narrative and discussion simultaneously. Yu's Cultural Journey is a good collection of essays. I suggest you have a look at it when you are free ~
