Ji hai's miscellaneous poems
gong zizhen
The vast sadness of parting extends to the setting sun, away from Beijing, riding a whip to the east, feeling that people are on earth.
I quit my job and go home, just like a flower falling from a branch, but this is not a heartless thing. It can be turned into the soil of spring and can also play a role in nurturing the next generation.
Poetic:
I quit my job and went home, just like a flower falling from a branch, but it was not a heartless thing. It has become the soil of spring and can also play a role in cultivating the next generation. The sadness of parting extends to the distant sunset. When I left Beijing, I felt like I was at the end of the world with a wave of my whip to the east.
Understanding of this poem:
In endless sadness, I saw the sunset again.
I left the capital and went back to the south, my whip pointing to the east. From then on, I stayed away from the imperial court.
Three or four words: falling red is not a heartless thing, it loves nature, even if it leaves dust, it will turn into spring mud to protect the growth of new flowers. The author compares falling flowers to falling flowers, hoping to train talents and do his best for the country and society.
Appreciation 1:
Ji Hai's Miscellaneous Poems ***3 15. Jihai refers to the year of Qing Daoguang 19 (1839). One year before the war, Gong Zizhen resigned from his post and returned to the south, then went north to meet his family. On the way back and forth between north and south, he wrote a set of huge poems. This article is selected from the fifth article of Ji Hai Zashi. At that time, the author resigned angrily and left his relatives and friends, full of worries. It is really a "mighty departure". The word "mighty" not only expresses sadness, but also contains all kinds of complicated thoughts and feelings, such as dissatisfaction with the society at that time, anger against the politicians, and concern about people's lives. At the same time, we can imagine that the author left when he resigned. "It clears up in the daytime" means that the author returns to the south with sadness, because the sadness is trapped in his chest, so he feels that time passes quickly, and unconsciously, the sun is already fading. The choice of "daytime" instead of "sunset" coincides with the author's mood at that time, and also metaphor the social reality of the country's gradual decline at that time. "Singing Whip" refers to the poet's whip, and "East Finger" refers to the destination of this trip-hometown (Zhejiang). "Tianya" is still far from home. From this sentence, we can imagine that in the evening, the poet stood on horseback, facing his hometown, looking forward to writing poems with mixed feelings. What is the poet thinking at this time? Want to fall in love and protect flowers. "Falling red" means falling flowers. The original meaning of the whole sentence is that the petals falling from the tree are not heartless things, but adhere to the surface, rot into mud, turn into spiritual souls, and raise the spring flowers of the year. The author compares himself to the circular law of nature, saying that although he resigned, he would still care about the future and destiny of the country. This philosophical remark conveyed the poet's commendable spirit of "seeking politics even if he is not in his place", showed the poet's unparalleled determination, and became a famous sentence throughout the ages, inspiring many people to "sit on an old horse and have a thousand miles of ambition."
Appreciation 2:
In the late spring of the 10th year of Daoguang reign (1839), Gong Zizhen resigned as the minister of rites and left for the south on April 23rd of the lunar calendar. The poet lived in Beijing for twenty years, and Beijing became his second hometown. I will be 48 years old as soon as I leave today. "Mr In the capital do it, cold and idle. His salary is very generous, and he is both heroic and hospitable. He is in great trouble in the environment and is only afraid when he is moved. " It is conceivable that when he resigned from Beijing, he touched thousands of people in Qian Qian.
In the first sentence, "It's a sad day to leave", the word "mighty" was used, which succinctly wrote the depth and breadth of leaving. The word "sunset" outlines the scenery, and the atmosphere of sunset and dusk strengthens the poet's feelings of attachment, disappointment, loss and loneliness when he left Beijing. The poet went south to return to his hometown, but he said with emotion, "The wailing whip means the world." Leaving Beijing marks the end of Gong Zizhen's political career. His career has been sloppy and he has accomplished nothing. There is no hope of returning to Beijing this time, so he felt heartbroken at the sound of flogging. He is full of melancholy and has no interest in enjoying the scenery. On the contrary, the sparse spring scenery in the suburbs of Beijing will only increase his disappointment. However, there are fallen flowers in his field of vision-"unlucky flowers" and "heartbroken flowers" he chanted in several poems! When he touches the scene, there must be a trace of bitterness and sadness: once the fallen flowers are entrusted to the land, they can't return to the old branches and can only be smashed into mud. Isn't it a symbol of your own experience and destiny? If the poet is immersed in lamenting the passage of time and youth, then he is not Gong Zizhen. I didn't expect the poet to take advantage of empathy for things and turn out new ideas by falling flowers, showing us an extremely magnificent realm: "Falling red is not a heartless thing, but turning into spring mud protects flowers more"! In the poet's view, as an individual, the life of a fallen flower is terminated; But once it turns into spring mud, it can protect and nourish new flowers, and its life will continue to the next generation, reflecting the true value of life-it will eventually give birth to a brilliant spring! Where is the mourning word for fallen flowers? This is clearly a hymn of new life!
Gong Zizhen, a poet, presided over Hangzhou Academy this time and called his disciples to give lectures. He bid farewell to the past with resentment and nostalgia, but welcomed a new life with hope and devoted himself to cultivating the younger generation. His persistent loyalty to the country and the nation has now turned into a sense of mission, spreading the word with all his salary for the benefit of future generations, and the image of "falling red" has become a symbol of lofty dedication. Recite this poem repeatedly, and you will deeply feel the poet's ice heart and care for people!
This poem is simple, but the scene is muddy and the heart is obvious. The short 28 words show the poet's broad mind, reveal the valuable value of life, and have the ideological and emotional capacity of covering the world. Known as the masterpiece of Ding 'an poetry.
