Fenghuang ancient city 1
Fenghuang ancient city is a gathering place of ethnic minorities, mainly Miao and Tujia, and a national historical and cultural city. Compared with Old Town of Lijiang in Yunnan and Pingyao in Shanxi, it enjoys the reputation of "Pingyao in the north and Phoenix in the south". The total land area of the ancient city is about 10 square kilometer. The Tuojiang River outside the city is winding, the river is clear, the paddles are swaying, and the folk songs are answered, which is a quiet and peaceful small town scenery.
There are 68 ancient buildings with cultural relics, ancient ruins of Ming and Qing dynasties 1 16, and more than 20 characteristic houses1. The main attractions are Chen Dounan's former residence, Shen Congwen's former residence, Xiong Xiling's former residence, Yangjia ancestral hall, Tianjia ancestral hall and so on.
2. Mengdonghe Scenic Area
Mengdong River is located in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, spanning Yongshun and Guzhang counties, with a total length of 100 kilometers, and its downstream meets Youshui and flows into Yuanjiang River. Mengdong River tourist area includes the middle and lower reaches of Mengdong River, the lower section of Youshui River and the middle and lower reaches of Lingxi River. Cave river is beautiful, birds and flowers are fragrant, cliffs are towering, ancient trees are towering, and there are many caves.
Only from Yongshun County to Longtou Gorge, there are more than 50 canyons, 100 twists and turns, more than 300 caves, more than 500 kinds of trees and 190 kinds of birds. The Mengdong River rafting in the scenic spot is a special tourism project. Boating from Yongshun Laosicheng or Hani Palace, the whole journey is more than 50 kilometers. Visitors can not only enjoy the scenery of the canyons on both sides of the strait, but also enjoy the excitement of near misses, which is very romantic.
3. Wulong Mountain Scenic Resort Scenic Area
Wulong Mountain Scenic Resort National Geopark consists of Tarot Park and Wulong Mountain Scenic Resort Park, with 74 named geological relics. Wulong Mountain Scenic Resort Canyon is 15km long, and the narrowest part is only 50m. It is a V-shaped valley formed by erosion and dissolution, with 2 12 caves, among which Hufei Cave is the most peculiar and spectacular, with underground galaxy, underground lake, underground mountain range, karst caves, branch caves, falling ridges and blind wells winding, and there are pools and blind wells in the cave.
4. Phoenix Qiliangdong Scenic Area in Xiangxi Prefecture
Qiliangdong Scenic Area, located in Fenghuang North Road, Fenghuang County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province, is a refuge for people nearby in ancient times. The cave in the scenic spot is more than 6000 meters long, and the entrance is like Longkou, which is more than 50 meters high and 20 meters wide. A Qingxi passes through the cave, and there are five scenes in the cave: the ancient battlefield, the promenade, the Dragon Palace and the Milky Way. Scenic spots include mountains, rivers, canyons, rapids, cliffs, waterfalls, jungles, pastoral areas and villages.
5. Hunan Guzhang Hongshilin National Geopark
The park covers an area of 26 1. 12 square kilometers, and the area of geological relics is 53.08 square kilometers, mainly including four scenic spots: Red Stone Forest Scenic Spot, Zuolongxia Scenic Spot, Qifeng Lake Scenic Spot and "Golden Nail" Reserve.
The red stone forest in the park has formed a rare geological relic in the world with its unique landform and geological environment conditions. The landscape of each development stage during its formation fully shows the morphological types and combinations of the Red Stone Forest, and retains the complete development and evolution relics, which is called the "Red Stone Forest Museum".
