Although Luxun Park is not a big park, it has become a symbol of Qingdao with its unique style. From the early 20th century to the 1980s, many tourist products representing Qingdao were printed with the seaside scenery of Luxun Park. This scenic spot was rated as "Top Ten Tourist Attractions in Qingdao" in 1998, and "Citizen's Favorite Tourist Attractions" in 200 1. Luxun Park was founded in 1929 and was designed and planned by Ge Jingying, then director of the Agriculture and Forestry Office. It was originally named Ruoyu Park after the then mayor Hu Ruoyu. 193 1 After Shen Honglie took over as mayor, Ruoyu Park was rebuilt, and the former site of the seafood restaurant was built and renamed as "Seaside Park". 1950 In memory of Lu Xun, a great revolutionary, thinker and writer, Qingdao Municipal People's Congress decided to rename "Seaside Park" as "Lu Xun Park".
The main entrance of the park is the original archway, and the front is spelled into four characters by Mr. Lu Xun's handwriting-"Lu Xun Park". Zheng Shifen, a connoisseur of contemporary inscriptions on the back, wrote "Penghu wins the orchid", in which "Peng" refers to Penglai and "Lake" refers to the square pot, both of which are legendary places where immortals live, which means that the scenery of Lu Xun Park can rival that of "Penghu" fairyland. 1986 10 On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Mr. Lu Xun's death, the youth of the whole city donated money to build a three-meter-high granite statue of Mr. Lu Xun, which stood at the main entrance. In order to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Lu Xun's birth/kloc-0, since autumn 2000, there have been cultural landscapes such as Lu Xun's poetry gallery, Shoutoutai and Lu Xun's autobiography monument in the park. Lu Xun's Poetry Gallery is a 75-meter-long and 3-meter-high wall in the form of national architecture. The wall is inlaid with reddish-brown granite, engraved with 45 poems written by Lu Xun, and the center of the gallery is inlaid with a embossed head of a bronze statue of Lu Xun. The whole gallery is solemn, elegant and magnificent, and it is a humanistic landscape worth savoring. Facing the sea, the shouting platform has a wide field of vision and is engraved with some chapters in Lu Xun's book Scream. Lu Xun's autobiographical tablet is located in Cui Ying Pavilion, on which Lu Xun's autobiographical handwriting is engraved. The tablet is 3m wide,1.8m high and 0.2m thick.
At this point, the whole park of Lu Xun Park has taken on a new look. Visitors can feel Lu Xun's cultural atmosphere more deeply after entering the park and are encouraged by Lu Xun's spirit. With the change of time and climate, the natural scenery in the park changes rapidly. The sun rises, the waves are shining with golden light, and the trees are colorful; The morning mist is diffuse, and the scenery is hazy, which is even more charming. The bright moon is in the sky, the static shadow is heavy, and the bay is getting deeper and deeper in the pearlescent flicker. In midsummer, the stormy waves beat on the shore, and the waves hit the rocks, stirring up snow waves tens of meters high, which shocked people; On the occasion of the golden autumn, the water is calm and the sea and sky are the same, which makes people relaxed and happy; In winter, the silver makeup is wrapped, the sea is blue, and fishermen fish.
