What is "Li Sao"

This is a work written by Qu Yuan, our great poet.

"Li Sao" is the representative work of "Chu Ci", with 373 sentences. It is China's first independent long lyric poem with an autobiographical nature created by the poet himself. Feng Sao, Feng refers to the "Guo Feng" in "The Book of Songs", and Sao refers to Qu Yuan's "Li Sao" in "The Songs of Chu". Later generations used it to refer to literature in general. "Li Sao" and "Guo Feng" in "The Book of Songs" are collectively called "Feng Sao".

"Li Sao" is a work written by Qu Yuan, a poet of Chu State during the Warring States Period in his later years. Regarding the meaning of the proposition "Li Sao", according to statistics, there are 66 versions, and here are five representative ones:

① Ban Gu believes: "Li is still suffering. Sao is also worrying. It is clear that you have suffered. "It's also a speech." It means "Li Sao" and suffer from sorrow.

② Qian Chengzhi believes: "Living away is suffering; cooing is disturbing. The disturber, Qu Yuan was greedy for his loyalty, never forgot the king, was upset, and was restless, so he was called coquettish." ”

③You Guoen believes that Li Sao is the name of the ancient Chu song "Lao Shang".

④Lin Geng believes that Li Sao means "complaint", and "Li" and "Lao" are two-tone characters.
