What genre is Wild Goose Gate?

Wild goose gate is an old topic in Yuefu. Yuefu refers to the poems collected or compiled by Yuefu organs for people's appreciation from the Han Dynasty to the Southern and Northern Dynasties. Yuefu was originally an institution established in the Han Dynasty, also known as Han Yuefu. The old topic of Yuefu is relative to the new topic of Yuefu. Writing Yuefu poems by using the old poems of Yuefu began in the Han Dynasty before Jian 'an, and the new Yuefu refers to Yuefu poems written by the Tang people themselves, that is, Yuefu poems in the early Tang Dynasty.

Creation background

There are two versions about the age of this poem. One kind: This poem was written in 8 14 (Tang Xianzong Yuan and 9 years). At that time, Tang Xianzong took Zhang Xu as our time, and led the troops to quell the Yanmen rebellion. Li He improvised poems to boost morale and made this song "Wild Goose Gate". To put it another way, according to Tang Zhanggu's Advocating Leisure, Li He showed Han Yu a volume of poetry, and Han Yu appreciated it after reading it. It was in 807 AD (Yuan and two years).
