He is the first scholar born for "beauty" in history, and is described in many of his works. His love for beauty is mainly manifested in two aspects. First, he repeatedly quoted the aesthetic image of "vanilla beauty" in his poems, which ran through the whole process of the poet's life. Before the poet decided to throw himself into the Miluo River, he did not forget to wear gorgeous clothes, a long sword and decorate himself with flowers and Yu Pei to show his beautiful character.
"Vanilla beauty" is not only the aesthetic ideal that the poet always pursues, but also the tool for the poet to transcend death. Poets sometimes hate life, sometimes love life, and wander between life and death, all of which are expressed through the "love of beauty complex" and finally reach a reconciliation. He aestheticized death and poeticized life, so the value of life and death was sublimated because of Qu Yuan's love for beauty, and the poet finally completed the pursuit of beauty through death.
