"How long will the cherry blossoms bloom" comes from Li Shangyin's "Untitled".
Untitled—Li Shangyin
Where mourning kites are rushed, cherry blossoms will always hang on the shore.
How long will the cherry blossoms last? The willows, greens and peaches are unknown.
I advise you not to ask about Fangfei Festival, the storm in my hometown is miserable.
This is an ancient poem by Li Shangyin. This song "Sakura" belongs to the seven-character ancient style, which is simpler than Qilu and Qijue. It has a lively form, diverse genres, relatively free syntax and rhyme processing, and is full of strong lyrical and narrative expressiveness.
Sakura, also known as mountain cherry blossom, mountain cherry blossom, March red cloud, etc., is a deciduous tree of the Rosaceae family. During the Qin and Han Dynasties, it had been cultivated in palace gardens, and by the Tang Dynasty it was commonly seen in private gardens. Cherry blossoms bloom from April to May, with single and double petals, and various colors such as white, pink, dark red, goose yellow, lavender, and green. Elegant and noble, with rich floral fragrance, cherry blossoms are mostly a symbol of romantic love.

Li Shangyin
Li Shangyin, courtesy name Yishan, nicknamed Yuxisheng, also known as Fan Nansheng, was born in Hanoi, Huaizhou, and was born in Xingyang, Zhengzhou, in the late Tang Dynasty A famous poet, together with Du Mu, he is known as "Xiao Li Du", and with Wen Tingyun, he is known as "Wen Li". Li Shangyin, Li He and Li Bai are collectively known as the "Three Lis". Together with Wen Tingyun, they are called "Wen Li". Because the style of poetry is similar to that of Duan Chengshi and Wen Tingyun of the same period, and all three of them were ranked sixteenth in the family, they are collectively called "Thirty-sixth Style".
Li Shangyin was one of the few poets in the late Tang Dynasty and even the entire Tang Dynasty who deliberately pursued poetic beauty. He is good at poetry writing, and his parallel prose is also of high literary value. His poems are novel in conception and beautiful in style, especially some love poems and untitled poems, which are sentimental, beautiful and moving, and are widely read. However, some poems (represented by "Jin Se") are too obscure and difficult to understand. There is a saying that "poets always love Xikun and hate that no one writes Zheng Jian."
In the second year of Emperor Wenzong's reign in the Tang Dynasty, Li Shangyin became a Jinshi and served as Secretary, Provincial Secretary, Hongnong Wei, etc. Because he was involved in the political whirlpool of the "Niu-Li Party Controversy", he was marginalized and struggled throughout his life. In the last years of Emperor Xuanzong's reign in the Tang Dynasty, Li Shangyin died of illness in Zhengzhou and was buried in his hometown of Xingyang. Some people also say that he was buried at the foot of Beishan Mountain in Qinghua, east of Yongdian, Huaizhou, his ancestral home.
