Watching TV
Author: Pu Huaqing
Every day, our whole family watches TV.
Watching TV in my family is really strange - —
Dad is obviously a football fan,
but he turned off a wonderful football match.
I don’t know why it was changed to Peking Opera,
It was babbling and singing endlessly.
Only grandma listened with fascination,
Dad and I were both dozing off.
When did grandma change the channel?
The players are running on the field.
"Good shot, good shot, shoot quickly!"
My father and I screamed with joy.
Grandma doesn’t watch TV but only watches us.
Claps and laughs with us.
Mom walked out of the study.
She was revising the manuscript she had recently written.
Looking at the tiredness on my mother’s face,
We all suggested not to watch the football games anymore,
let her listen to music and watch dancing.
Every day, our whole family watches TV.
Watching TV in my family is really weird!
Everyone has a secret in their heart,
What is it? You know it even without telling me.
