Hunan Huanhuai National Wetland Park is located in Lixian County, the transitional zone from Wuling Mountain to Dongting Lake Plain. It is a composite wetland ecosystem composed of natural rivers, reservoirs, floodplains in the river, swamps around the lake and forests, with a planned area of 2,776 hectares, including 2,406.7 hectares of wetlands.
